HUT! TWO, THREE, FOUR …

Stop the presses! The U.S. Senate campaign of Orangeburg, S.C. attorney and Afghan War veteran Bill Connor – one of the GOP candidates challenging incumbent U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham (RINO-S.C.) – has been suspended.

No, Connor isn’t preparing to withdraw from the race over this scandal … he’s preparing to embark on another manly military exercise that his campaign hopes will instill you with a sense of awe and admiration for his selfless love of country.

Because whether you want to or not, you WILL respect his service.

“Beginning Wednesday afternoon, April 23, Bill Connor will be participating in a mandatory military spring certification training out of state,” Connor’s campaign said this week. “To avoid even the perception of campaigning while on military duty, we have decided to suspend all campaign activities through the end of training on Sunday, April 28.”

Yeah …

So in other words, prepare to NOT pay attention to a campaign you already weren’t paying attention to …

To the Connor campaign, the Connor campaign suspension is serious business.

“We will not be available for comment from media, will not be updating social media, making any campaign related phone calls, or participating in any other forms of direct campaigning,” the campaign announced. “We will resume all campaign duties when Bill returns from training on Monday, April 29.”

Oh, the horror.

What will South Carolina do over the next five days with no Bill Connor for U.S. Senate campaign out there to remind us of his heroism and valor?

Thanks for the heads up. If you had not told us he was not going to campaign for a while, we would have assumed he was doing what he always was doing……nothing.

I love my US military don’t get me wrong. Conner and Haley are grand tango-ing their service. Each are hero’s in their own mind. God bless the real hero’s that fought and died in the Bush wars.

Wearing cammies and drinking black coffee for five days does not constitute “Service To Our Country.” Just what is this “Training” in which he is participating?

Time to renew your military driver’s license? Remember which end of the rifle to look through? The “TGIF’ written on the tips of his boots stands for “Toes Go In First.”

Just, you and I both know, “that fucker and Nikki’s fucker would never run to a firefight” but to a election, no one on earth could beat them there, worthless SC politicians for fame. Can you name more?

Will, I’m certain you would of had a similarly snarky article if he would’ve left his campaign operations running during his military service.
I understand why you love T-Rav and despise Conner. You feel uncomfortable will your moral superiors. It points out your inherent inferiority. You can feel more comfortable, with your screwed up history, with people more screwed up than you. Makes you feel superior.

There is a rule somewhere in the UCMJ that says you can’t do anything political while on active duty. So in order to be 100% right he has to suspend operations for the time he is on duty. You are right , if he didn’t do this all the usual whiners would jump on it Damned if you do and damned if you don’t. Better to be right and criticized than to be wrong and criticized.

Not to mention Lindsey is in fact a military lawyer – a JAGGER so to speak – and he’d probably bring charges. But I’m fully supporting Lindsey Graham. He’s a great statesman, a fantastic Senator and a snappy dresser. All I can say is – “You Go Girl!”

The military, the soldiers, are the most meaningful, decent, efficient and mandated portion of the federal gov’t…

I’m VERY PLEASED he is telling us that he is part of the most-legitimate aspect of gov’t…

He should point that out. He’d be irresponsible to not publicize it.

I guess Bill’s recent notification of being LTC Promotable (to full bird) pretty well dose away with all the lies about him having less than exemplary service record. His life’s service to duty, honor and country are a shining example of the kind of service we need as U.S.Senator. He will remain true to his conservative roots unlike the present RINO holding the office. RESTORE HONOR VOTE CONNOR.

Is this a joke?

It’s basically a campaign message while campaign activities are “suspended.” So yes, a joke.

But I’m sure RogueElephant isn’t one of Connor’s campaign staffers.

You might like to “think” you know a “real genuine patriot,” but actually you don’t.

RogueElephant April 23, 2014 at 11:56 am

No. There are actually people who still believe in Duty Honor and Country. I know it’s hard for a libturd to comprehend but it really exists.

Oh goody. Of course the real American statesman and military hero here is Lindsey Graham, a truly great southern statesman and leader who represents us all.

I respect anyone who puts on the uniform and is prepared to fight for his country. This guy is a Lt Colonel, that means at least 16 years of service so far; the other candidates, none.
