Last week we did a post on Columbia, S.C. ambulance chaser Joe McCulloch – who recently penned one of the dumbest anti-Second Amendment letters we’ve ever read in our lives.
In reporting on McCulloch’s brain dead letter we neglected to mention this shyster has once again decided to run for the S.C. State House against Rep. Kirkman Finlay (R-Columbia).

Seriously, he couldn’t beat Finlay two years ago – when U.S. President Barack Obama was on the ballot (and when corrupt officials in Richland County deliberately shortchanged voting machines in GOP-heavy districts as part of an effort to raise the local sales tax).
McCulloch also failed to neatly wrap up his 2012 bid … as evidenced by a recent campaign filing showing his account with a negative balance.

For those of you keeping score at home, negative balances on campaign disclosures are not permitted – resulting in the S.C. State Ethics Commission (SCSEC) flagging the report and sending a warning letter to the candidate in question.
Sources tell FITS an ethics complaint against McCulloch is in the process of being filed, although it wasn’t immediately clear if the complaint revolved around the negative cash balance or some other issue.
We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we receive a copy of the complaint …
