I predict we will see more and more of this, as people with ethics turn away from the Fascist Democrat party and the RINO Republican party, more and more.

OK, this is the last time- quit saying you decided to run based on praying to me! I’m tired of it, and it’s pissing Me off. I don’t care if you run or not, what you run for, or if you win or not. It’s not like I created politics, political offices, or even nation-states, for that matter. Did you see anyplace on Earth where I marked some gridlines and said that this was a country? “I realize that there is not sufficient time to compete with the special interest money that both Governor Haley and Senator Sheheen have already raised. With the GOP June 10th Primary only two months away, this simply does not give me enough time to communicate our positive message for change.”
You idiot, if you let that $4K+ that you just blew to get your name on the ballot for the primary work for you, you would only be facing Haley in the primary. That would give you plenty of time to get out your “message” against Sheheen in the general elections AND you would have the enormous advantage of all those straight party votes that idiots in this state are so fond of hitting for the Republican party. Instead, what you have done is to create a huge advantage for Haley, so you can guarantee her another four years reward for her dismal performance since taking office.
Tom, if you really want to see Haley punished for her malfeasance, do SC a favor and just drop out of the race, altogether. Of course, my gut feeling is that you are working for Haley intentionally. Did she make you an offer you couldn’t refuse?
I believe a GOP candidate has to pledge not to mount an independent candidacy if they lose in the primary. The primary voters are a small part of the electorate and tend towards establishment Republicans. Therefore if he thinks he can garner enough votes with the electorate at large, and honor the pledge, he has to go as a petition candidate. I believe as you do that he will not get a substantial number of votes in the general election but you and I weren’t hired as his consultants. However, if I were an aspiring candidate I would try to find out who his consultants are and blacklist them, they are just siphoning off some easy cash. If he figured this out for himself I believe the axiom about a lawyer representing himself would fairly apply.
