SOUTH CAROLINA GOVERNOR LOADS UP ON GIFTS …
S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley received $47,000 worth of free travel and took gifts totaling $45,000 in 2013 – not a bad supplement to her $106,078 annual taxpayer-funded salary and the $100,000 she received from the publisher of her book.
Not surprisingly, the first-term “Republican” – who campaigned on transparency and claims to be running the “most transparent administration in state history” – wasn’t in the mood to discuss details of all her goodies.
“Haley’s office did not respond Tuesday to written and phone messages,” reporter Rick Brundrett of The Nerve noted in his report on Haley’s freebies.
Brundrett also pointed out it was curious for Haley to receive payment from her book seeing as she previously stated that “proceeds from the sale of her book would go to her charitable foundation.”
Brundrett also pointed out that Haley failed to include her husband Michael’s government-funded salary on her income disclosure filing.
Hmmmm …
Wealthy real estate developers, national political organizations and other politicians padded Haley’s travel and gift accounts – including an $8,175.86 trip to Palm Springs (paid for by a Michigan-based foreclosure attorney) and a $3,750 tab for unspecified “accommodations” (provided by Columbia, S.C. real estate executive Jodie McLean).
Must be nice, huh?

For someone who makes a lot of money, she sure is a bum.
What do expect from a gypsy? Hell, her sister sold her house, took her kids out of school and lived in an RV until the courts stepped in. Traveled around speaking about conversations with the universe. Bunch of whackos.
