Today, Representative Mark Sanford received the endorsement of FreedomWorks PAC, a 6 million member grassroots organization that is committed to promoting free markets and individual liberty.
“Mark Sanford is a champion of pro-freedom legislation, and is one of a handful of grassroots-backed representatives who came to Washington and actually did what they promised to do on the campaign trail,” said FreedomWorks President Matt Kibbe.
“I’m honored to receive the backing of FreedomWorks, given our shared commitment to advancing free markets and individual liberty,” said Sanford. “I look forward to continuing to work in Congress, with FreedomWorks and other groups, to advance legislation that cuts spending, shrinks government and protects liberty.”
Representative Sanford is the first South Carolina Representative to receive FreedomWorks’ endorsement in 2014 and was ranked by FreedomWorks as the most conservative member of the South Carolina congressional delegation in 2013.
Since taking office last May, Sanford has received considerable praise for his conservative stands, including receiving the Defender of Economic Freedom award from the Club for Growth for his 95 percent rating in 2013, receiving the Spirit of Enterprise Award from the Chamber of Commerce for his pro-business voting record, scoring 100 percent on the American Conservative Union scorecard, and being called a “cast-iron conservative” by the Washington Post.

Sanford has always known how to play the populous. He sucked as a leader, by alienating all, but as one to get in line and follow what others tell him…he’s expert.
The biggest thing Sanford has to fear, is that his good buddies McCain and Graham talk him into believing Liberal-Tarianism is the way to correct the Obama disaster.
As long as Sanford plays Conservative, pokes his Latine-ho’ Lover…and votes like I think…he’ll retire as a wrinkled up Washington-retread Insider, shilling for things in the Lowcountry to be named for him…so he can be immortal, in his mind….
Sanford backed by moneyed interests, Koch-made right wing political groups.
derp derp derp KOCTOPUS! derp derp derp CORPORATIONUZ! derp derp derp KOCHTOPUS!
Scumbags supporting scumbags. What’s new?
All that praise and he is still a disordered fill-in the blank. Makes you call into question the groups that so honored him. Seems they are setting the bar pretty low.
It just proves that the people in this state that voted for him are disgusting vile non humans. It is my hope that the people voted for him dont have kids they are responsible for allowing the behavior of Sanford to guide them in raising their kids as a moral compass
There is Maria holding herself!
A sicko and a gold digger home wrecker!
Fork um both!
Over the St. Paddy’s Day weekend, Sanford and his Argentine fiancee partook of the parade on Hilton Head. “Everyone is Irish today…” he stated.
Guess he forgot, he got kicked out of the club when he divorced his Sullivan Colleen and his absent half-Irish sons.
Was there a picture of them together?
Haven’t noticed any. Guess Sanford was putting Chapur through her paces as politician’s wife-in-waiting. Wonder if she passed the test? He’s probably love bombing her like crazy to keep her, unless she is tired of getting the short end of the stick with married guys, and decided to keep this one.
Tom Davis Tweeted a picture of Chapur with his daughter…his not grown daughter.
That was hilarious! The caption should read “stick with me kid…you’ll never go without a date.”
Or
Si, it is true. I am an Analista Internacionale. I will sign your autograph.
Or
Aunt Jenny? No, you can call me Aunt Belen.
Can’t believe that TD would tweet a picture of them together.
Of course he should be recognized for promoting “individual liberty” He has exemplified it in his everyday life. Why should, for instance, Sanford’s marriage vows have interfered with his “individual liberty” to commit adultery?
Odd how The Honorable Mark Sanford and his fiancee believe in individual freedom and liberty but not the moral agency God grants us. The last I heard they are still stuck on that lightening strike and God being in charge at the end of the day to absolve themselves of any ultimate responsibility. And that subtle, snarky public blame-shifting he employed when talking about his former wife. Guess they are not fans of Spurgeon, who wrote “The
predestination of God does not destroy the free agency of man, or lighten the
responsibility of the sinner.”
In a reality-based world, that would be a death-knell.
FreedomWorks loves whores obviously.
Being able to bump uglies with a whore and dump your family is certainly an expression of freedom.
Aren’t they pro-amnesty, pro-Washington establishment?
FreedomWorks…grassroots…I may pee my pants.
Integrity & character matter to me. Sanford doesn’t.
