“HIGHWAY TO THE DANGER ZONE?”
U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham (RINO-S.C.)’s approval rating among likely Republican Primary voters has slipped all the way down to 45 percent – according to the results of a poll released this week by Winthrop University.
Hmmmm … guess it’s a good thing for Graham that he’s building an army of Democrats to vote for him in the state’s open primary on June 10.
Oh … and has more than $7 million to convince impressionable GOP primary voters that he’s still “one of them.”
According to the Winthrop survey, Graham’s 45 percent easily eclipses the levels of support drawn by his opponents, S.C. Sen. Lee Bright (8.5 percent), Charleston businesswoman Nancy Mace (3.7 percent), Orangeburg, S.C. attorney Bill Connor (3.5 percent) and Upstate businessman Richard Cash (2.9 percent).
Meanwhile 35 percent of the GOP primary electorate surveyed said it was undecided on the race.
Bright wasted little time pouncing on the data in an effort to position himself as the “anti-Graham.”
“Lindsey Graham’s polling has consistently declined and is now well below 50 percent,” he said. “That decline is based on his performance over the last 18 years, and there’s nothing he can do in the next few months to put lipstick on that pig of a record.”
Well … again, except build an army of non-Republicans to cross over and vote in the GOP primary (which is exactly what he’s doing).
The Winthrop Poll surveyed 901 likely “Republican” voters in the Palmetto State from February 16-23. Its margin of error is plus or minus 3.2 percent.

Normally I’d recommend to Graham that he make himself more available to help boost his approval ratings, but given that every time I’ve recommended that to him before I’ve had to pull him out of gay bars later that evening I think I’ll stop and tell him to talk about the importance of a strong military and social security.
He can win with 45% approval. Look who he is running against.
Look who he’s
runningtaking a leisurely stroll against.Senator Graham continues to be supported by the citizens of South Carolina because he is a strong and reliable advocate for our rights. He is the best Senator South Carolina has ever had, and stands up for fiscal responsibility and is dedicated to getting our spending under control. And he is a true Southern gentleman and someone we should inspire all our sons to be like.
Surely you jest?
He sure is dandy! A real Fancy Gentleman.

A follower of the SCS – South Carolina Standard – white shirt, rep tie in blue and red, dark suit – the colors of the stars and bars. Dang – he’s a good looking man. He’s got my vote. Bet he looks even better in Carolina kaki pants and a blue blazer with a blue button down. Just like Tango.
You tell’em Van Winkle! Graham for world ruler!!!
He is the best Senator South Carolina has ever had

The tallest midget in the world!
I know right, the best.
Never convicted.
Best senator money can buy.
I never met a Republican money could not buy. That is the reason they run. The want a high paying government job, government health care, government retirement, and an annual bonus from the Koch brothers.
Look a Sanford, he has been living on the backs of the Taxpayers for 20 years. Republicans love their government check and their lobbyist funded travel.
Republicans belong to the rich.
The reason no one is close to competing against Graham is because they are all Tea Party Candidates. Every one of them allied themselves with the crazies in the Senate. Too bad they handed over the election to Graham.
I concur, Graham opponents are all tea party dopes who have zero shot at getting any voters other then the WAY RIGHT WING tea party republicans.
Right! So much better to vote for pro-illegal alien, pro-third world dictator, pro-start an unnecessary war, anti-freedom, anti-US citizen and anti-taxpayer Graham.
I thought you were describing the other GOP? candidates. That certainly isn’t an accurate description of Graham.
Are you kidding me???? He pushed and pushed hard for the NDAA-2012 provision which did away with traditional Constitutional protections such as the right to remain silent and the right to an attorney.
He is chomping at the bit to pass some type of pro-illegal alien legislation in an effort to gain more votes from the illegal and pro-illegal alien Hispanic sector. Note: I have no gripe with Hispanics in general, just illegal aliens (of all ethnicities). Puerto Ricans are by birth, US Citizens, therefore absolutely no problem with them.
Lindsey can frequently be found whining about how we need to give away more, more, and more, money that we (the US) don’t have to give away, to third-world dictators and nations whose intentions toward us are at the very best ambiguous, and more often, downright hostile, so they will “like” us.
Please tell me you are not serious.
Interesting picture. Standing next to Benedict Arnold Kerry. After the way Kerry sat at that senate committee hearing and lied about the American soldiers in Vietnam any self respecting military person wouldn’t be in the same room with the POS. Grahamnasty has sold his soul to the Washington establishment. How many times do the people of SC have to be kicked by the head and sold out by this RINO to wise up and look elsewhere? RESTORE HONOR VOTE CONNOR.
Don’t like Graham, but will never vote Connor. Just another teanut; and frankly I would rather have Graham than a teanut.
Mass Gay Migration Aims to Make Arizona Majority Gay
PHOENIX (The Borowitz Report) — Rejecting calls to boycott Arizona, a newly formed gay organization is mobilizing its members to move to the state by the millions in the hopes of transforming it into the nation’s first majority gay state.
The group, called Americans for a Gay Arizona, has already received commitments from a million gay Americans to move to the state within the next two months, with a target of enlisting over six million gays to move there by the end of the year.
Harland Dorrinson, the executive director of the group, said that the influx of six million gays would be “more than enough” to ensure that Arizona would be majority gay, but he acknowledged that he did not have an exact figure of how many gays currently reside there.
“We think it could be as many as a million,” he said. “But if you add in conservative politicians, that number could go much higher.”
According to one associate of Governor Jan Brewer, the plan to move six million gays to Arizona is shaping up to be the governor’s worst nightmare.
“She’s always been against immigration, but nothing like this,” the associate said.
Didn’t Jan Brewer veto that piece of garbage legislation? Maybe they are moving there to protest the AZ Legislature.
45% approval + average dumb straight ticket voter population in SC + dumb Democrats that think supporting this guy’s a good idea – meager opposition by half-assed opponents in primary – meager opposition by half-assed opponents in general election = Graham wins again.
Every. Time.
Let’s hope that this time, enough will have awaken from their intellectual and political slumber that he is cast out.
Stamper would be better than the others on the GOP ticket.
If Graham is the Republican nominee, Mr Stamper will most definitely get my vote.
Better Graham than a teanut.
who are the fucking morons still supporting this douchebag?
Welllll, that staunch conservative, Charleston Mayor Joe Riley, with several NAACP mouthpieces endorsed Graham in 2008, as the Dem was more conservative than Light in the Lindsey loafers. Go fig
Verrrrrrrrrrrry interestink. Dat meenz 55% don’t like die schwienhunt!
