If we were running S.C. Sen. Lee Bright’s campaign for the United States Senate, we’d be focused on raising money … not spending it.
Bright’s fourth quarter fundraising effort was a joke … although the concerns over his credibility as a candidate are no laughing matter.
Anyway … Bright did his best to put a positive spin on his atrocious fundraising numbers by releasing a poll that showed him “dominating the crowded field of challengers.”
How much did the poll cost? Who knows … but Bright had less than $50,000 on hand at the start of the year, so let’s hope it wasn’t too much.
According to Bright’s poll – ostensibly taken from “a telephone survey of 623 randomly selected likely Republican Primary Election voters” – U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham remains the top choice in this year’s U.S. Senate election with 46 percent of the vote. Bright follows with 17 percent, followed by Charleston businesswoman Nancy Mace and Upstate businessman Richard Cash (5 percent apiece) and Orangeburg attorney Bill Connor (4 percent).
Cum grano salis, people …
Actually cum oceanus salis.

Not too bright…
He’s winning… Winning Golden Coral’s most valuable customer award.
Looks to be about sixty pounds overweight. Ugh.
Winning what? He’s 29 points behind!!!
He meant that he’s “winning” like the Charlie Sheen definition of winning.
Have yall seen the Bright ad that calls the SC Statehouse the “proving grounds”? Lmao!
I’ve noticed that too. They need weapons for that.

Winning honorable mention, maybe.
This poll is a scientific unbiased poll. The results are similar to earlier polls and is reliable.
Bought and paid for by Lee Bright. I bet it was unbiased. NOT.
I swear that’s really Corky from Life Goes On.
$20 sez a half of these were people who’d donated to him at some point. The other half were the knuckle-draggers who think he’ll impeach Barack Obama for being a Muslim.
Obama’s a Muslim…Wow….Rev. Wright, and Obama, claim he is a Christian…
Which is it, T? Muslim or Christian?
Ask Cicero..which is probably you…
Thing about you liars…it gets kinda hard to keep up with which lie you told last, doesn’t it?
Funny how all you liberals HATE money in politics, but you are burying this guy, because he is not connected to the wealthy, big-time funding puppet-masters…
I hope he can win it w/o money. He has had the guts to denounce Common Core and if he wins, he will not be beholding to his backers.
No one is “burying” him because he is not connected to “big-time” funding puppet-masters.” People recognize that this candidate is completely unqualified to win in a statewide race. Not to mention that everyone knows that you have to have funds to operate a campaign. The fact that he is a sitting SC Senator from Spartanburg County says a great deal about the voters of that district.
So who do you support?
The voters who voted that dick in were tea-party wing nuts and others who only noticed he was on the Republican ticket.
I don’t recall if a Democrat was even running against him in the general election.
Everybody else stayed home but that is what you get with voter apathy and ignorance.
The old saying that you get the government you deserve is ringing truer every day…………………
Lee Bright, Queen Namrata and Mark “the Shirker” (“But I can’t be deployed, I was elected Governor and my duty is now to the people of South Carolina”)”Sanfraud” are evidence of that.
it’s not about how much money you have
it’s about how you manage they money you have
kinda simple don’t you think?
Lee Bright has less than $50,000 in his campaign bank account and is more than $1,500,000 in debt when he ran his business into the ground. Sounds like he is a #winning machine!
Tiger blood!
he’s a toilet clog
Plenty of tiger blood to go around.
