AFTER EVERYTHING SHE’S DONE FOR THEM?
Georgia should never utter an unkind word against S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley. Seriously … she’s been better for Georgia than she’s ever been for South Carolina.
But since Haley started another pointless war of words with the Peach State this week, we’re not surprised its leaders are firing back.
Attempting to mitigate the damage from her recent winter storm debacle (here, here and most importantly HERE), Haley lashed out at Georgia’s politicians for their response to the substantially less-than-brutal weather event.
Specifically, Haley said she was “furious” at Georgia for botching its storm response … while praising her agencies for their efforts.
Georgia’s governor is not having any of that …
“To say South Carolina did a better job responding to the storm than Georgia is like saying Tennessee did a better job than Louisiana responding to Hurricane Katrina,” Gov. Nathan Deal’s spokesman told The Atlanta Journal Constitution. “We experienced completely different weather events.”
Tssssss … burn.
Don’t worry, Georgia. We’re sure Nikki Haley will find a way to make it up to you. She always does …

NIKKI HALEY ONLY CARES ABOUT NIKKI HALEY!
Yes, and Michael should get sole custody.
Michael will be sent to Georgia to direct operations during the next bad weather event. He will be held hostage until Nikki apologizes to Nathan if he screws up.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say again:

Does this qualify as a Bitch Slap or a Bitch Bitch Slap ?
In a battle between two retards, it’s more like a Tard slap.
Nicely done Georgia.
Go Gov Dawg!
Watch out, Georgia. Our mack-daddy guv will slam you up against the wall. That’s what red necks do!
Haley is a child.
Why was she so angry with the governor of Georgia over the condition of their roads? Was there a Columbia bound LTL truck loaded with acne cover, tacky pantsuits and hooker boots?
It’s text book red herring for the sheeple.
Does it appear to anyone else that Nikki’s gears aren’t in sync?
Sync? Hell she stripped her gears decades ago. It’s hard to sync smooth wheels. Even more so when the hamster can’t be bothered to run them.
Well, it was probably hell all scrunched up in that Lamborghini!
2″ of snow in Atlanta Metro. It shut the whole place down. I know – I was there at the time. 5.5 hours to drive 7 miles on I-285. How is that “weather event” different from SC’s?
Atlanta had a lot more ice than snow.
No, it didn’t. The little bit of snow that fell stayed frozen on the roads. I was there.
Then you weren’t here.
The difference was that the SC county emergency people had the smarts to err on the side of caution and shut down for Tuesday AM. That led to most of the schools following suit. And, that’s why we didn’t end up with Georgia and Alabama’s messes.
BTW, my state agency sent out a NOAA weather map Monday that clearly showed the forecast for snow all around Atlanta and all over Georgia. I don’t know where Nathan and his people were getting their forecasts, but it was not NOAA.
2″ of snow in ATL. Approximately the same here, plus some ice in the Lowcountry. Doesn’t really support Gov. Deal’s statement, does it?
Deal probably texted her right after: “remember who u work 4 bitch”
Nikki’s brother is smart enough not to live in the state where his sister is Governor.
Good one!!! And true. I’d like to move too! Haley for aGov. , Toal for a Chief Justice, Harrel for a speaker, Leatherman for a Senate leader, Peeler for a Senate leader, Eckstrom for Comptroller and Wilson for aan Attorney General, we’re screwed!!
But, where to, Obama for a US president! We’re all screwed!!!

The witch Haley may have our state on lockdown with her dictatorship but she dont in other states.
Gov Deal, sworn in after their wicked 2011 ice storm, can be let off the hook since the snow line was right on top of Atlanta. Atlanta did not treat the roads then closed the schools and government at the same time during the height of the storm. The Mayor of Atlanta has been in office since 2010 and still screwed up the 2014 storm response despite first hand experience with the 2011 storm. Mayor Kasim Reed does not deserve a second term.
Nathan’s interstates were where the problems were.
Sort of silly. At the end of the day the score is – Atlanta closed by ice – Savannah gets a deeper port. Charleston closed by ice – and shafted by Haley.
So Trikki Nikki Haley brothers in his yellow Labroginni bitching.. about being stuck in traffic with the common folk. South Carolina do you really want another 4 years of Haley and her mismanagement? I Know I dont.
COLUMBIA, SC — South Carolina
Gov. Nikki Haley said Thursday that she is not “furious” about how
Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal handled the winter storm after her brother was
stuck on an Atlanta interstate for 27 hours last week.
“This was
not me being furious at Georgia,” she said. “This was me being furious
as a sister not being able to get to her brother.
I don’t want this to be a state-to-state issue. Gov. Deal did what he
thought was best.”
Haley called Deal on Thursday and apologized,
said Brian Robinson, a spokesman for the Georgia governor. Deal accepted
her apology.
“They’re good friends and good friends don’t hold grudges,” Robinson said.
Haley
told a reporter on Tuesday that: “While I was trying to fix South
Carolina, I was furious at Georgia for not taking care of that.”
The
comment took off on political websites and among Democrats since one
Republican state CEO appeared to be criticizing another.
Robinson
answered the initial report by telling an Atlanta newspaper on
Wednesday: “To say South Carolina did a better job responding to the
storm than Georgia is like saying Tennessee did a better job than
Louisiana responding to Hurricane Katrina. We experienced completely
different weather events.”
Asked about Georgia’s response, Haley again stressed that she meant no malice toward her neighboring state.
“It
was never meant to be a slight to Georgia or Gov. Deal,” she said. “I
would not do that because every governor goes through their own
challenges.”
The governor said Thursday that her brother, Mitti,
was caught in the storm after flying into the Atlanta airport. He joined
thousands of motorists caught on uncleared, congested interstates
around the city.
Her brother is diabetic and Haley said she was worried about him not getting food and water.
“I stayed on the phone with him as we were managing South Carolina at the same time,” she said.
Her brother eventually was able to walk to a hotel and camp out in the lobby, the governor said.
Haley
said she will hold a conference call with S.C. emergency officials on
Friday to go over how South Carolina handled the winter blast.
The
state experienced few problems, though the Ravenel Bridge, a major
connector in Charleston, was closed for nearly two days after icing
over.
Rain washed away brine meant to keep ice from forming on the bridge’s unique road surface, transportation officials told The State last week.
State
Sen. Vincent Sheheen, a Democrat who is running against Haley this
year, said this week that the governor should have gone to Charleston
during the storm.
“Sheheen’s job is to criticize everything I do, and he’s doing that well,” Haley said.
The
storm was first time the nine-year-old Ravenel Bridge had frozen with
ice, she said. She defended the decision to close the bridge.
“We
did what we needed to do to keep people safe,” she said. “We made sure
the bridge was closed while we know it wasn’t right to get on there. …
I’m a very proud of how Team South Carolina stepped up.”
The sign in the pic says “Governor Nathan Deals,” look more closely. The slinging governors, throwing those stones.
Another winter storm is on the way this week. So Haleys brother should be sure and cover his Labroginni..and Haley better hope the ice storm passes because she may eat those words of how prepared our state was last time….because we all know with all the cuts to state government and her plan to privatize it its going to be bad
