SENATE CANDIDATE BOASTS IMPRESSIVE FUNDRAISING TOTAL

The nightmare scenario for liberal U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham (RINO-S.C.) involves one of his primary challengers gaining fundraising traction – and then convincing pro-free market groups to throw their millions in behind them.

It’s the only way he’s going to be defeated at this point …

Graham has raised $7 million for his 2014 reelection bid (special interest whore that he is) – with millions more likely to flow in GOP establishment money. However there is potentially as much as $5 million in “anti-Graham” money out there, waiting for the right “anti-Graham” to emerge.

And a credible challenger wouldn’t have to match Graham dollar-for-dollar … they just need enough to keep things competitive.

Will Charleston, S.C. businesswoman Nancy Mace be that candidate? The first female graduate of The Citadel military college is certainly positioning herself to be on the fundraising front.

“The first few weeks of the New Year have been exciting!” Mace wrote this week in an email to supporters. “More than 5,000 individuals helped us raise about $385k in 2013 and today we are well over the $400,000 mark. Additionally, more than 6,000 patriots have joined our team on the path to victory, we’re opening our first campaign headquarters next month, and we took part in the first couple of debates of the cycle. I am thrilled at the positive feedback and energy from conservatives all over the Palmetto State!”

If the numbers contained in Mace’s email match the ones she files with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) later this week, it will represent a very impressive fundraising haul for a first-time candidate – one that could (if Mace can maintain momentum) possibly lure much bigger dollars off of the sidelines.

“They’re looking for someone with a foundation, someone with a trajectory,” one national operative told FITS, referring to the various groups eager to oust Graham.

Mace’s numbers would also place pressure on the other announced challengers – S.C. Sen. Lee Bright (R-Spartanburg), Upstate businessman Richard Cash and Orangeburg, S.C. attorney Bill Connor – to keep up with her momentum.

Mace raised roughly $150,000 during the third quarter – her first as a candidate. That easily outpaced Bright ($102,000) and Cash ($14,680). Cash has roughly $235,000 on hand – but he spent more than he raised last quarter.

Connor? He was a late entry to the race and will file his first fundraising report this week.

One has to wonder why FITS nor Mace ever mention that her father was commandant of cadets during her time at the Citadel. In fact it was her father that handed her the diploma at graduation.

“Ms. Mace’s role in the graduation ceremony was understated. Her name was mentioned only once, as she walked across the stage to receive her diploma from her father, who is also a Citadel graduate.”

Mace and his daughter are a disgrace to The Citadel.
Every woman on the The Citadel campus has a scholarship.
Why? We have to pay them to come, because no women want to go there.

That’s the little black secret no one wants to talk about. Because of Title 9, The Citadel & VMI have to have X number of Women’s sports in order to have the other Men’s Sports. Unfortunately, there are not enough women on campus to field these numerous teams. So, we have to bribe women to come there to play sports.

We even have to give up some men’s sports such as the Men’s Soccer Program. One that had been on campus since the 1960s.

That’s what happens when you get idiots like Bill Clinton’s sick Attorney General; Janet Reno in charge of our Country. They leave out common sense for their own sick and disgusting agendas.

Results: we end up with nonsense at The Citadel, VMI, West Point, and etc. Where the biggest problem is not turning out fighting soldiers and civic leaders, but dealing with Sex on campus including rapes.

One of the things she is starting to get some heat over, and rightfully so, is her relationship with Will Folks.

This is a very good thing. But her response to it is to basically brush it off as Will Folks being a “client” and just one of many. That’s nonsense. They were business partners. She was co-owner of the website he used and continues to use as the platform for his stories about Governor Nikki Haley. And she served as his “spokesman” in response to all press inquires when he started smearing Nikki Haley with allegations of an affair. She was his mouthpiece, she spread those stories with her own name.

I’d buy that for a dollar!

Unless there’s a serious lib challenger, I’m totally on board with this chick!

He is what a Republican use to be and true Republicans are today. The Tea Party, while espousing the taxation issues and small government, attracts the elements of racism, bigotry, and obstruction. This is not good for our country. Not by a long shot.

Graham is all over the map, but he is liberal on some things, such as his support for immigration reform and cap and trade, among other things.

I don’t believe he actually has a liberal mindset, though, more like his masters likes some of those things, ergo he likes those things.

US Senator Mace (R-SC)…

Regarding Sen Graham’s insistence that the Benghazi investigations are not going anywhere, I submit my research indicating he is less than honest on his role as Senator.

1) 9-29-2011: Four US Senators toured war torn Martyrs’ Square, formerly named Green Square and the site of frequent Gadhafi speeches. Sens McCain, Graham, Rubio, and Kirk.

2) September 2011: The four U.S. lawmakers also met with the head of the National Transitional Council, Mustafa Abdul-Jalil, and other high-ranking officials of the group that is now governing Libya.

3) August 2009: This trip contrasted sharply to the last visit by McCain and Graham to Tripoli in August 2009, when they met with Gadhafi and his son Muatassim to discuss the possible delivery of non-lethal defense equipment as the erratic Libyan leader was moving to normalize his relations with the international community.

According to a classified document released by WikiLeaks, the delegation, which included McCain, Graham and two other senators, Joe Lieberman and Susan Collins, held back-to-back meetings with Muatassim.

4) May 8, 2013: Following the attack that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans, U.S. Rep. Jason Chaffetz, a Utah Republican, traveled to Libya as part of a congressional investigation.

Stevens’ deputy, who at the time of the Chaffetz visit was the top U.S. diplomat in Libya, told the committee that senior State Department attorneys told him and other officials that the lawmaker could not interview them.

“So the people at state told you, ‘Don’t talk to the guy who is coming to investigate?’” asked Rep. Jim Jordan, an Ohio Republican.

“Yes, sir,” replied Gregory Hicks, adding that the request was highly unusual.

Hicks said he subsequently received a call from Cheryl Mills, Clinton’s chief of staff.

5) October 28, 2013: Calling the Obama administration “irresponsible” for shielding witnesses to the deadly 2012 Benghazi terror attack, Sen. Lindsey Graham said Monday he’ll hold up every executive branch appointment and nominee until more survivors are allowed to speak to Congress.
“I have nothing left available to me,” the South Carolina Republican told Newsmax TV. “Fourteen months after the attack and we still haven’t had access to the survivors.

“It’s incredibly irresponsible of the Congress to allow, and the administration to basically shield witnesses who are relevant to a congressional investigation as to what went wrong in Benghazi.”

6) October 29, 2013 Sen Graham Tweets, “Where are the Benghazi survivors? I am going to block every in the US Senate until they are made available to Congress.”

7) November 21, 2013: Sen Reid militantly changes Senate rules weakening the power of the filibuster. The change reduces the threshold from 60 votes to 51 votes for Senate approval of executive and judicial nominees.

8) December 20, 2013: The Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare. U.S. Rep. Robert Pittenger was joined by GOP Reps. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, Louie Gohmert of Texas and Steve King of Iowa. Pittenger said the Obama administration has “deferred to the Libyans” and their concern that Benghazi is too dangerous to conduct an investigation.

9) November 2013: The State Department announced that it has been quietly offering rewards of up to $10 million for information leading to the arrest or conviction of anybody involved in last year’s attack.

Sen Graham has visited Libya since the war. He has visited Libya before the war. He was welcomed by the transitional government. He has not visited Banghazi since the attack that killed our Ambassador. He ignore cross examined testimony showing a link vetween State and survivors not to be interviewed. He has done nothing to find the truth. Sen Graham is a disgrace.

before, he had waaaaaay more money, more connections, he had everything except
the votes. He finally got enough people fed up with him that even though he had
the election on a silver platter it fell off the platter before he could get
his dirty fingers on it. Ms. Mace has a very good chance. She need to study the
elections of Ms. Shealey and other candidates that won their elections by
getting on the ballot by petition. Different strategies for different areas,
those candidates, like Ms. Shealey, can help her tremendously get the footing
she needs. If she gets a good fire going the wind will move her to the senate
and put Mr. Graham on the curb.
