MANHUNT UNDERWAY FOR MULTIPLE SUSPECTS …

South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, S.C. was placed on lockdown after a shooting took place on the campus Friday afternoon. Meanwhile multiple law enforcement agencies were participating in a manhunt for at least four individuals suspected in connection with the shooting.

Officials at the historically black college confirmed to The Orangeburg Times and Democrat that shots were fired at approximately 2:00 p.m. EST at Hugine Suites, an on-campus dormitory named for one of the school’s former presidents.

One victim – 20-year-old Brandon Robinson of Orangeburg, S.C. – was transported to a local hospital. He was later pronounced dead from a gunshot wound to the neck. There are no initial reports of additional victims.

“We are actively engaged in a manhunt,” an Orangeburg Department of Public Safety (ODPS) officer told the Times and Democrat.

Agents from the S.C. State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) assisted in the investigation.

“Eyewitnesses at the scene of the incident identified at least four suspects in the shooting. Police immediately began pursuit of the individuals who left campus,” the school said in a statement.

“Students are safe, the perimeter of the campus has been secured, but the suspects have not yet been apprehended,” the statement continued. “For this reason, the university has initiated a campus lockdown in the event the perpetrators attempt to return to the campus.”

The statement added that students, faculty and staff should “take precautions” and notify campus police immediately “should they see any suspicious activity.”

Below is a video clip from the scene …

UPDATE: Justin Bernard Singleton, 19, of Charleston, S.C. has been arrested and charged with Robinson’s murder.

She didn’t say anything about “shooting and wasting” the dregs. She said something about citizens who, “know how to use, respect, and need”, weapons to protect themselves from those dregs. Sometimes, just having a gun and the knowledge and willingness to use it is all that is necessary. Family members and myself have found that to be true on more than one occasion. Note, you must be sure that you will use it if it becomes absolutely necessary. If you are not, the dreg will pick up on it and probably take the weapon away from you to be used on yourself and/or other good people.

Maybe she has “wasted” some dregs. Maybe she just wounded one or more, as did an elderly store owner friend of mine once did to halt a brutal and vicious attack by two younger men, armed with hammers. Maybe she never had to use a weapon, but let its presence be known, foiling an impending attack, as my father and myself have both done. Maybe she never had to even show it, but the confidence she radiated when being scoped out for victimization by a dreg was enough to creep them out and make them decide she was not the one they wanted on that day. Believe it or not, it happens, and rather frequently, too.

Maybe she is just prepared to do whatever is necessary, should such a time ever come, but like myself, hopes it never happens.

She is right and she is an asset to society.

Man I hate this because a young man, someone’s child, pursuing a better life was harmed. That said, SC state’s press release reassuring parents SUCKS! Your former police chief, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (who is my neighbor) are under some serious indictments that involve major corruption at your university, and who knows what else is going on. Schools were founded to educate and better our population – white collar pimps are every bit as responsible for this murder as are the thugs who did it. These young gangbangers idolize the black studs driving their Cayennes around campus and whether a police chief snorting coke in a hotel or an exec. thronging the coeds – it’s a lifestyle that they have chosen to prey on their societal peers.

If you think that the T-Bones and Shorty’s of the world aren’t connected to the bangers when they need sump’in done then you my friends are incapable of seeing a block down the road.

Remember (maybe 02 or 03) when Sanford refused to help fund a Monument to Fallen Law Enforcement personnel at the Statehouse, but he pulled a sneak around the back door, to slip the money, he said he did not have, to SC St.

I remember Lee Bandy fawned all over Sanford for that..and I think it’s what P!$$#d Jakie off, initially…

And looking back: SC St. was robbing the taxpayers’ blind..and Sanfraud is bragging about what an upstanding steward of the peoples’ money, he is……

Fits, your credibility is going to suffer if you continue to publish these false stories.

There is no way this could have happened. SC State, like all schools in SC, is a Gun Free Zone, therefore this could not have happened. Please get your facts straight before publishing a story.

SC State should be bulldozed, The only reason it exists is to provide paychecks to the corrupt, scamming, thieves, who run the place. A “degree” from there is a total joke. The “house” niggras are busy cheating the “field” niggras”. That’s all.

Having happened at SCSU I’m surprised this even made the news. I figured the shooting was just a class assignment.
