Whether they realized it or not, his is what the carpetbaggers in SC1 elected Mark Sanford to do…make meaningless political gestures.
That is ALL he has done since 1992…that and booty calls.
He was one of 67 in a 359 to 67 vote. He will always be on the losing side…along with the people who voted for him.

Our country would be in much better shape if, for the last 100 years ALL politicians had followed this template. It’s the one’s that DO stuff that screw us up.
Shame we still have to pay them for their pandering and posturing but he speaks the language of SC-1, so job security there.

Sitting on his ass and collecting $200,000 in salary and benefits, while the average person in his district is lucky to earn $20,000 a year. But hey those low income people are all just looking for free stuff. I hate this pathetic taker.

Come on Mark. Tell the real reasons you voted against it. It didn’t include funds to fly you to your haircut appointments nor did it have funds for transporting your dogs.
How dare you! Chapur is not a dog AND she has her own funds to fly to and from…and to and from…and to and from…especially since she sold her engagement ring back to the waiter.
So that’s why she is not wearing her ring. The recent videos of her show her not wearing one. Perhaps all that flying has depleted her traveling funds.
Didn’t we hear, Sanford never wore a wedding ring? Another example of the liberty-loving like mindedness of these soulmates.
Actually, I saw the episode on Hardcore Pawn, where they handed in their rings for money to pay for his kids’ tuitions. Ashley gave them a hard time because they were trying to pass them off as Tiffany’s. But no fool her, she recognized vintage Cracker Jacks.
Later in the show, Jenny came in to pawn her old wedding album and got a great price because of the notorious and historical provenances.
Jenny who? By the way Mark did wear his wedding band during the early years of marriage-there are pictures to show that.
SC really fucked up putting this man back in office, but who is surprised? Haley and Graham will be reelected, most of the legislature will stay in office, and nothing will ever change in this god forsaken state.
