The real winners of the Championship game were the viewers. That was one heck of a game.

ACK! ACK! ACK!

ITBGHO, two of the three best (most entertaining) bowl games involved ACC/SEC matchups. The three best being: FSU/Auburn, Texas A&M/Duke and Clemson/OSU.

OK! OK! —- my SC teams won and my AL teams lost. All I can say is that Auburn (grits teeth) got a taste of the “1 minute flu” ………

How did Clemson end up beaten by USC, again? Doesn’t winning a BCS bowl game mean anything???

This gives South Carolina the highest final ranking for a team from South Carolina.

I can’t believe Spurrior and Co. got a #4 ranking in both polls. Of course neither can the Clemtards. I guess we got style points for being both State and Bowl Season Champs……

So how did USC leapfrog Missouri? They lost to them and were ranked lower than them in the conference standings? Doesn’t really matter, 4th is still 3rd loser. CBS early pre-season rankings are out and USC is ranked 11th.

All these great responses and not one person answered my question. How does Missouri beat USC, finish above them in the conference standings, have their 2nd loss come in the conference championship and finish behind USC? Not that I really care, my team isn’t in the top 10 and I’m not one who lives and dies by USC or Clemson football.

Dumb as a stump with Gamecock envy to boot. Stay warm in your orange sleeping bag, Squishy. Your team did great and you’re a loyal Tigers fan. Time to recharge the batteries, dude.

And that is the CBS “first guess” at the rankings…and Clemson is 16th. And now you know….the rest of the story. Prepare for the 6-peat.

I think they got it about right. SC or Clemson COULD beat any of the teams below them – and probably could beat the teams ranked above them too. Funny thing about college football, there is some parity and winning, even games you should win, isn’t always easy. No way SC should have lost to Tenn this year, and if they hadn’t, they may have been playing last night….

Danny Ford will tell you, the National Championship team wasn’t his most talented team – they just had some breaks go their way. Hang around in top 10 long enough, and maybe those breaks will go SC’s or Clemson’s way (although I don’t think I can stand it if SC were to actually do it).

Will, you forgot to mention that the Gamecocks became the first team from the state to finish in the top 5 in the history of the BCS!

Coaches put UCF in the top 10 ahead of Ohio State and Stanford, but AP put UCF behind those schools. Regardless, great year for that team.

I didn’t read this before I posted on another story. I knew it was coming. I’ll say it again…

Also, before you try to spin last night’s National Championship loss
into some some sort of victory for your beloved SCUm coots, please note
that the rest of the SEC isn’t quite as enamored with SCUm as SCUm is
with the SEC. So save it. You didn’t, don’t and won’t have a dog in the
fight.

You cocks have little brother syndrome. Face it, you’re the weird
kid that plays D&D. We don’t need your “support” nor do we want
it. Y’all are just strange. I’ve never seen a fanbase so deluded.

Well neener neener neener to you too, OGOB.

We absolutely choked. Still, it sure was nice to play in the National Championship. Again.

How many of those have y’all won anyway? None?
SEC? None?
ACC? One? Wait…***how***many years ago???
