Crack and Meth have done so much to ruin the world and the good things in it. When I first saw that article in the (Rock Hill) Herald, my first thought was, “damn, why don’t things like this happen in my hood?” Then I read where she was on crack. In reality, I would have probably figured it out and not let her in anyway, unlike 30 or so years ago, when I would have been a very accommodating host.
Crack and Meth heads will (any and all of them) steal the stink out of shit if they get a chance. Naaa, don’t want or need that in my house.

You are correct. A very friendly girl used to hang out with our group when she was nice, clean, and could participate in intelligent conversations. After about 18 months she ended up on crack and essentially homeless. Occasionally when she could get to my neighborhood she would visit me to get fed and take a shower. She would steal shampoo, soap, and anything else she could get, even though I would have given them to her or bought them for her. She just seemed to prefer stealing. Once I caught her taking the toilet paper holder apart. In answer to my question “why?” her reply was that my former tenant used to hide his marijuana there – which was news to me!
