Amanda Ripley, the writer, is the author of a book called “The Smartest Kids in the World” which details how they got that way.
People need to stop being so easily led by the propaganda machine of the right wing and start thinking and researching for themselves.

I made a comment on this post earlier and it is gone. Basically: Why would the USA and SC encourage education to be competitive in the international market when they can keep the populace ignorant and less employable?

“Prohibit the collection of personal student data for any non-educational purpose, and the sharing of personal data except with schools or education agencies within the state.”

How about letting parents see their child’s graded standardized tests. You get a final test score or percentile ranking but do not get to see exactly which problems your child missed.
