Columbia, S.C. – SCGOP Chairman Matt Moore today issued a statement following State Superintendent of Education Dr. Mick Zais’ announcement that he will not seek re-election in 2014:

“We are incredibly appreciative of Dr. Mick Zais’ service to our state and children. His leadership has helped to expand school choice and increase accountability.

“I am confident that a Republican will hold the office in 2015 and beyond. Our next Republican Superintendent of Education will continue Dr. Zais’ legacy of leading on education reform –  as it remains a top priority.”

Retired Generals are not good pols or top appointees. They are used to having very large staffs and no one questioning their orders. Pols and top appointees have small staffs and have people end running them all day.

Perhaps, after the disasters left by Generals in the Haley cabinet, and Zais’s lack luster performance, we can get people to fight for us not just parade around looking for respect.

For your information, Eisenhower,Jack Kennedy and that phoney Reagan came about when the stars were in alignment (i.e. – right place and time = pure circumstance)

I was around for all three situations and the good fortune of those eras will probably NEVER happen again.

Face it, get over it and prepare for it (and I ain’t talking prepper shit either – its too late for that)

it will be a gradual decline just like every other empire before it.

Plain and simple.

That’s how the cookie crumbles and there ain’t nothing that can be done about it.

There are no more Bering Straights to cross!!!!!

Yep:

Pretty much blah,blah,blah ad infinitum……………………..

Long and short:

South Carolina will be lucky to top Mississippi in every category next time around………………..

If it wasn’t for Charleston and the coast, South Carolina would be damn near behind every 3rd rate despot state/canton/whatever in the entire world….

And some of you have that damn palm tree on the back window of your vehicles…

What fools these mortals be!!!!!

No wonder you have the likes of Nikki Haley for a governor and Lee Bright as a state senator!!!

what are y’all going to do to top this bullshit?????

I can hardly wait!!!

No doubt it will be a doozy!!!

Stay tuned folks!!!!!
