Okay … the fact we’re two months late to the “flying eagle cam” party is pretty depressing. Seriously … we haven’t been quite this tragically unhip since we were No. 275,200,681 in line at YouTube to watch Oppan Gangnam Style.

Anyway this worth watching video raises a host of questions (almost as many questions as those Amazon drones).
For starters … how did they get that camera on the eagle’s back? And off of the eagle’s back, for that matter? How much air speed velocity did it take away (cue Monty Python)? What the hell is the guy at the 20-second mark of the clip doing? Did the eagle crash land at the end of this clip due to the excessive weight?
Oh … and what’s the line on this weekend’s Philadelphia-Detroit game? And when the hell is Michael Vick going to play again?

Anyway, before everybody decides to get all “U.S.A.!!! U.S.A.!!!,” this clip was shot in the Chamonix valley of France’s Mer de Glace (a.k.a. Sea of Ice) near the Mont Blanc massif.
