Isn’t it fun to watch when all the little rats start pointing their fingers at each other? I wonder who got the best deal? Usually depends on who squealed first (or loudest). As usual with these types, though, only a faux stab at any kind of personal responsibility. Poor Goldfinch, done in by a “wayward contractor.” Yet another cliche- “I dint know nuttin!” Sounds a little like BHO.
So let me get this straight…this fecal matter isn’t going to prison?
I don’t know, but I would think not. This is what a worked out plea arrangement looks like for a white collar, daddy’s boy, no criminal record, federal misdemeanor kinda guy. Probably get some of that country-club / old boy federal probabtion, or maybe even just a fat (or not-so-fat) fine.

Gotta love the SC GOP: “Representative Goldfinch continues to be an outstanding legislator and represents well the people… in the 108th District.” So the fact he’s guilty of involvement in a criminal enterprise “will not be a distraction from his work as the General Assembly reconvenes in January.” I guess an admission of guilt doesn’t disqualify him from the state legislature. In fact in SC, it’s a plus!
I’ve even heard other legislative folks dogging this clown. Maybe the party down there knows something great about him that we haven’t heard yet; or maybe they’re just party-hack assclowns…
Or, like Thomas Ravenel, maybe he knows all the dirt on them.

On another high note for Georgetown the city mayor Jack Scoundrel has had a tax lien placed on his house because he failed to pay his state income taxes. Georgetown… the most corrupt county in this corrupt state.
