Looks like Benko didn’t like the comments he got when this was published in Forbes a week ago, so he thought he could troll more GOP hard-liners here.

Benko must have been disappointed by the comments this article elicited a week ago in Forbes, so he sent here to troll in more conservative waters.

A little Googling on Benko was amusing. It seems he thinks Niall Ferguson has pwned Paul Krugman.

So how do you explain the overwhelming victory of Republican Chris Christie in an overwhelmingly Democratic state? He certainly did not campaign on social issues. Also, Ken Cuccinelli in Virginia lost 66 per cent of the single female vote because of his extreme views on abortion. So much for your contention that “social issues…help GOP candidates win.

Christie is helped in large part by the fact that his predecessor was a complete slimeball, to be honest. (Just Google him if you want to know the level of slime we’re talking about here.) That’s not to say that when Christie steps down that they won’t go right back to a Democrat for governor, though.

Social issues bring in the values voters and that’s about it. If the GOP keeps chasing social issues instead of fiscal ones, well, I’m sure the DNC will send them a thank you card.

Well, if anyone knows how to get and distribute other people’s money to buy votes, it’s certainly Fat Bastard.

His sucking Obama’s ass for hurricane disaster relief at a crucial time right before the election helped the both of them greatly, politically speaking. It also hurt Willard.

Those are all things that Dems in NJ can obviously get behind.

I don’t know anyone with any reality based political viewpoint that could claim that Christie is anything but a far left Republican at best.

So, are we to assume hat Christie, even if he is a “far left Republican” is somebody that some “Dems ….can obviously get behind” and thus offers some hope that the Republicans can retake the White House in 2016?
