Fiscal conservatives are getting beaten up pretty bad these days by the “Republican” establishment … and it sounds like things are about to get worse.
During an October 30 conference call organized by former George W. Bush strategist Karl Rove, GOP Senate leader Mitch McConnell (RINO-Kentucky) reportedly referred to the Tea Party movement as “nothing but a bunch of bullies.”
“You know how you deal with schoolyard bullies?” McConnell then said. “You punch them in the nose and that’s what we’re going to do.”
Well, well, well …
McConnell’s comments – first reported by Breitbart – represent the latest salvo in an intra-party war between fiscal conservatives (like Rand Paul of Kentucky, Ted Cruz of Texas and Mike Lee of Utah) and establishment “Republicans” (like McConnell, John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina).

McConnell’s face looks like he has been punched repeatedly. What’s with those jowls, turkey neck and that hangdog face? Hell, I’d rather look like Kenny fucking Rogers than Mitch McConnell.
Whose balls did the Democrats borrow? Because they sure as hell haven’t had them until now.
Stalin’s…Lenin’s…Castro’s…pick any leftist dictator with no respect for the rights of the minority..
The GOP and Tea Party are concerned about the rights of the minority. Now that’s RICH!
Pig farmers, tobacco growers, shit shovelers and mail order lawyers.
Chris Christie’s a bully.
Paul, Cruz, et al, are shake down artists, right up there with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson and any given little Mafioso hood.
He does not want to punch fiscal conservatives he wants to punch the Tea-nuts. It can’t hurt. The Tea-nuts and Congressional Republicans are two of the very few groups less popular than Obama. Its about time the Tea-nuts started their own party, instead of trying to take over someone else’s party. I suggest they call it the Tea-nut party. It has a nice ring to it and everyone knows what to expect from them.
Boo!
Teabaggers are nothing more than pawns for the Koch brothers, rich old white guys who think they own the country. Some of them are so poor and stupid they think they will get rewarded for supporting the likes of the Koch brothers dream on sheeple.
Racist much, jerry?
What? The Koch brothers aren’t “rich old white dudes”?
demonize and denigrate…that’s how democrats stop debate…Jerry, your race card is getting really old..ask DR. CARSON what it is like to be audited for criticizing the prezzie’ s policies…democrats are doing what they do best…oppress minority rights and discriminate against those whom they disagree…nothing new here…just followin the democrat party tradition of uncle Jim Crow and grandaddy grand wizard Byrd…nothing new at all jerry….just talk to Dr. CARSON…
Dr. Carson. That you, Gary?
They probably are pawns, but it doesn’t mean some of the principles are wrong. They just think the Koch’s mean it when they say stuff, and you’re right, they don’t most of the time.
These discussion blogs need two separate columns – one for the Progressive wak-jobs and RINOs, and one for normal people. McConnell said what he said once, in response to Rove. Then, the same day, he voted to support Lee and Cruz. He was being painted as a liberal by a rogue tea-party which was even against Rand Paul in 2012.
This is disinformation, from the looks of the remarks on this blog, which is working.
NO POLITICIAN IS PERFECT. And even so, look what Jesus’ own people did to him, and he wasn’t even running for anything.
I may lose friends over this, but I think it’s time to step back and let the Progressives and RINOs identify themselves rather than try to paint people. Trust me.. they will.
Jesus was running for King of the Jews, man!
Nah.. he’s just hounding us.
So the wing of the Republican Party who wants the American Empire to use military force in every geopolitical conflict, in order to impose our values and/or monetary interests to those places where said beliefs are unwelcome, is saying that the Tea Party wing are bullies? Talk about cognitive dissonance.
