No surprise. Haley wants to remain on the good side of establishment Republicans because she wants something better after her next term as governor. Best not to rock the boat, especially when she’s running in 2014.

Erect billboards along I-26, I-20, and I-95 around the Columbia area calling her a “liar” just like the likes of Obama. It will do quite a bit of harm while exposing her ugly truth. Anyone supporting Graham, to me, is a sack of shit. Because that is what he is. And I am no liberal. I am no democrat, not even a republican anymore. I am an independent. I tell everyone I come into contact with – when talk of politics might come up, that Graham is a demon just like Obama.

That did it. As much as the idea disgusts me, I may well vote for Sheheen just to (hopefully) help ensure that she does not see another term.

Hi Veno! That was originally my plan. I figured between her blatant corruption, incompetence, and other things, it was a given that she would lose after her narrow victory over Sheheen in 2010. I planned to vote for the most interesting third-party candidate and let the chips fall where they may.
She would lose (or so I thought) and my hands would be clean of having elected Sheheen to the Governor’s mansion. Hey, I could truthfully say that I did not vote for him. :-)
The way this is starting to look, absent a challenger in the primary, I may wind up doing something I really don’t want to do, just to try and keep her from getting re-elected, something she definitely does not deserve.
Might as well, Sheheen won’t win anyways. :P

Hmmmm…. there was an article somewhere today about Snooki kissing up to Lindsey while specifically declining to *endorse* him, citing her policy to not get involved in any SC races, but that article seems to have disappeared (at least I can’t find it now). At any rate, looks like she’s trying to hedge her bets all around… interesting to see how that works out.

Voting on issues according to party has this state in a turmoil-the GOP held majority has fubared this state since Sanford’s first year. Corruption and ethics violations have been hidden or swept under the rug for a decade.
