Yet another story we knew about months ago – when is the main stream media going to finally pull its head out of its collective asses and realize that the Emperor’s new clothes aren’t really so new and the Emperor himself isn’t just a “…mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,…” he’s also … a storybook, man…” and he’s telling stories from his playbook left and right. You remember the “…if you like your policy…” story. It’s also important to remember that scamming the “official numbers” is as old as Igg and Ook settling up their cash register at the Bedrock Walmart.
Give the whole thing over to a group with significant power, little accountability and little means to hold them accountable and you have the recipe for the current state of affairs in “Sodom on the Potomac”.
As Samuel Langhorne Clemens once opined, “Lies, Damn Lies and Statistics” – throw in a little political motivation and you “damn lying governmental statisticians”.
