If you think this poll is stupid, it is. The Clinton’s have been polling Hillary vs Christie since his reelection in NJ. MSNBC’s Matthews has been non-stop talking about the election results from two weeks ago. The 2016 elections are three years away and she is already fundraising and polling! LoL.

While I am glad more and more of my fellow Americans are waking up to just how bad Obama is at his job, I do feel an element of schadenfreude towards those angry about losing their policies. Any sentient creature could have told you at the time that Obama was lying about being able to keep your policy and that millions of policies would get canceled. It is hard to work up too much sympathy for those crying about the cancellations at this point. As Mencken said, “Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.”

The 7-11 November Gallup Poll says that Congress has a 9% approval rating — no breakout on Ds vs Rs vs TPs — so Obama is still ahead of the east end of Pennsylvania Ave.
The irony of using a 9% approval rating to make someone else look good is obviously lost on the faithful.

Whats it matter at this point? Obama carefully worked this healthcare law to take hold AFTER his reelection. You think he cares about having low approval ratings after he is guaranteed another 4 years? No. If republicans don’t have a decent candidate in 2016 these approval ratings won’t matter again. It is sad but true. All of the things he said wouldn’t happen, have happened…and no one can do anything about it. All the while congress is exempt. Republican or democrat… this should disgust you.

When are we going to mature as a country and focus our efforts to fix the problem? Admit when the guy in power is full of crap and when the system as a whole is broken, are you really better off today than you were before Obama? Are we better off today than we were before Bush? Hell no to both of them, but we are significantly worse off after Obama than we have ever been in the history of this nation. He has shown complete incompetence and disregard for the opinions of his advisers, but even more he has shown a complete and utter disregard for the American people. I think the whole hierarchy of Hogs need to be slaughtered. It’s time this “Animal Farm” gets correct and it starts at the top.
My take is any sort of universal healthcare is going to raise the cost of everyones healthcare and they never should have alluded to the fact that “If you like your plan you keep it.” If that is true, then how are we going to “magically” pay for everyone else? Do you think insurance companies or the government is going to foot that bill? And if they do, how do you think they are going to offset those additional costs? Why you and I the tax payer or insurance buyer.
Any way you look at it the plan is a tax or a penalty, it’s just a matter of semantics. If you expect the government to cover the additional people it will be a tax to raise revenue to cover the gap. And if you expect the Insurance providers to cover the difference you can expect insurance costs to go up across the board in order to cover the additional people, most of which are “bad bets.”
In all honesty all Obama had to do was put in place a law that limited how much information an insurance company could get from us for insurance quotes and make it illegal for anyone to be refused insurance coverage. Then, what would happen is it would anonymize us all and then the insurance companies would be left to spread the additional costs amongst all of its insured on an annual basis. But, everyone would be covered and he would avoid the whole mandate thing and calling it a tax.
The insurance game would still be free market, but they would spread the losses amongst themselves and the winners would be the American people. Anything the government runs is full of waste and excess fat…a private company cuts fat to survive.
