This week, U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration will reveal how many Americans have enrolled in the nation’s new socialized medicine law.
Should be pretty cut and dried, right?
Wrong … in an effort to artificially inflate the numbers, the administration will classify as an enrollee anyone who filled out an application online (whether they actually purchased the plan or not).
“Enrollment will measure people who have filled out an application and selected a qualified health plan in the marketplace,” an administration official told The Washington Post.
Interesting … especially when you consider the average “abandonment” rate for online purchases is 67.44 percent.
According to The Wall Street Journal, fewer than 50,000 people have signed up for the government-run exchanges – less than one-tenth the projected enrollment.
Ouch, right?

Ms. Lindsey heard about the number fudging and asked if there would also be packing and when/where.
