A bunch of lead horses (read – political leaders) pulled us here and now mull around while we try to get the wagon out of the quicksand. They could help pull the wagon out of the quicksand but as you can see by the last bunch of years they have NO inclination to do any such thing, so why not get rid of them and try someone else.
Who is really the idiot, here? I don’t worship at the temple of “who knows best how to game the system for themselves or to help someone at home in some small way the best”. This should be about what is best for our country and for our future and that of generations to come. I used to gag when people in my home county elected and re-elected a corrupt old drunk to the Legislature, time and time again, because of his “seniority” and “what he could do for our county”. Mostly it was about what he could do for himself, including never being arrested for the numerous times he was stopped by state and local LE while totally sloshed.
