Obama Loves The Poor?

We’ve written extensively on the myth of “Barack Obama: Middle Class Hero.” How come? Because in reality Obama has been more of a “Middle Class Zero.” But having failed to create the “rising, thriving” middle class he promised – surely Obama has improved the lot of the working poor, right? Right?…

We’ve written extensively on the myth of “Barack Obama: Middle Class Hero.” How come? Because in reality Obama has been more of a “Middle Class Zero.”

But having failed to create the “rising, thriving” middle class he promised – surely Obama has improved the lot of the working poor, right?

Right?

Not so much …

In fact income disparity between the very poor and the super rich has never been greater. Consider the chart (below) from Zero Hedge, which shows the amount of money earned by the nation’s poorest 23,303,064 residents (who make an average of $2,000 a year) and compares it to the amount of money earned by the nation’s wealthiest 2,915 residents (who make an average of $22 million a year).

Guess which group makes the most?

Hmmmm … so if Obama isn’t helping the middle class or the poor … who is he working for?

Obama must love the poor for the same reason that God must love the poor. Like God, he made so many of them…

“Let me be clear: I am a liar. A certifiable, bonafide liar who fooled a majority of brain-dead voting morons in this country into electing me not once but twice! Remember when I said ‘if you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it – period!’ Hahaha…that of course was a lie. Remember when I said Benghazi was caused by a shady character and a video? That too was a lie. Remember when I said the stimulus would help the economy and bring down unemployment? Well, again, another lie. Remember when I said the sequester was the Republicans fault? That obviously was a lie because that was my own idea. Remember how I spent my first four years blaming Bush for all the problems of this country? Unfortunately, those were lies too because when I had the chance to actually fix things on my watch, I purposely or incompetently, take your pick, fucked them up instead. Remember when I said I was looking out for the middle class? That was a lie because what I should have said ‘LOOK OUT, middle class.’ So you see, all that hope and change stuff, well, it was all a big lie. Too bad suckers!”

Uh, surely you Teanuts understand that the Republicans have blocked every single attempt by anyone to repair the damage Republicans did to the poor and middle class in this country. Beginning with two disastrous wars and ending with an economic collapse.
The disparity between rich and poor has never been greater because the Koch brothers, Howard Rich, and their ilk want it that way. A few rich people and a lot of poor people is Republican Utopia.

Bill – Thank you! Teanuts understand nothing – nada – zilch. All they can do is sit mesmerized by the loons on Fox every evening and suck it all up. Some of them even believe the stuff that FITS posts.

Well, it turns out that many of those cancellation letters were misleading, and failed to mention that customers could find better policies at lower prices on a healthcare exchange.

A special report by Talking Points Memo found specific examples of insurance companies contacting people before the October 1st start date, and trying to lock them in to higher priced plans than they could find on an exchange. The companies warned customers that their plans were being canceled and offered them new, higher-priced plans, but made no mention of healthcare exchanges, or subsidies that people could qualify for under Obamacare. One of the women interviewed by TPM would have had to pay more than $1,000 a month for the new plan offered by her insurance company, and it offered bare minimum coverage with a $6,300 deductible. After logging on to her state’s insurance exchange, the Seattle resident found a plan for $80 dollars a month with a $250 dollar deductible. –

One, it is not the governments job to think for you conservatives.

Two. People tried passing other legislation to protect even conservatives, and they had a fit.

Three. What the heck kind of business people are conservatives if they can’t even figure out that they need to look into it before griping?

Can we even trust businessmen like that? That lack the basics in business?

Can we trust the President?

Sandy Burglar November 6, 2013 at 8:08 am

Thinking people don’t. Only idiots who want “free” stuff do. And even when they’re repeatedly lied to, they still do. They get what they deserve.

Well certainly more than we can trust the Republicans and Tea Partiers, so I guess we have no choice.

idcydm November 6, 2013 at 5:06 pm

Go a head and trust him more if you want, I don’t trust any of them Republican of Democrat. One party or President did not take us to $17 trillion in debt. Remember Obama really wants single payer, if that happens along with SS and Medicare only God knows what the debt will be.

Thom or Rush, you’ve obviously picked your poison.

The President said what he said, you can believe him if you want to. Even Democrats in congress are running from it.

Of course, he loves the poor. He loves them to death.

The Republicans are the ones who REALLY love the poor. They go the extra mile in every piece of legislation to make sure there’s an ample safety net for every American, down on their luck – wounded veterans, the homeless, the mentally ill, the widow and orphan.

Republicans treat the poor like their own families.

But if he works for the poor, you will scream about taxes and do your best to thwart him. You lost in Virginia last night, and Christie gonna straighten your extrmist out when he runs for Prez. I for one can support him. He is moderate, collaborative, and a consensus builder.
