Yeah … so we’re doing a few more of these “Today’s Tuneage” posts – inspired by our recent trip to see Pearl Jam in Charlotte, N.C. This one is “Lisztomania” by the band Phoenix … a group we discovered by googling the music from a car commercial.
Formed in 1999 in Versailles, France, Phoenix is wrapping up a world tour in support of its latest album Bankrupt! this month. It’s been a big year for the band – with gigs on Saturday Night LiveAustin City Limits as well as appearances at Coachella and Lollapalooza.
This song is off of the group’s critically acclaimed 2009 album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.
