How did it go from a life threatening chest wound to a forearm abrasion? Last night he couldn’t even tell what happened when he tried to buy drugs, I mean got robbed!
That’s the story I heard from several sources, too. His stories were inconsistent (meaning probable lies). Why would a law-abiding person who was just shot in a robbery be telling people who were trying to help him NOT to call the police?
Question remaining is, will he get help covering this one up because of where he works, and is apparently well liked?
It would appear that the AG Office may have taken over the handling of this crime. One story was the gun shot went in the forearm and then entered the upper body. One has to wonder what was he doing in an industrial park?
Word on the skreet is that he was shot at or near a church on Kinley Rd which is technically in RCSD’s jurisdiction. He fled it and wound up at a business on or near Centrum Drive, which as I understand it, is technically in CPD’s jurisdiction.
This is where he reportedly was telling people trying to help him not to call police. Yeah, it’s all on the up and up…
Just watched Sheriff Lott’s Press conference on this. While I am far from being his Number 1 Fan, I think he handled that very well given what he has to go on.
Apparently the little golden child has not been helpful or truthful with the po. Yeah, likely another drug deal gone bad.
SOP for low tier dealers to pop you one when you don’t come through with the $$. Next time a Miami drop to the temple when you don’t come through. Doesn’t matter who you are or what your status is in life. Over the years, in Cola, we have lost Dr’s, a dentist, and a few executives who “just happened” to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Happens every week all over the fruited planes of our country.
It appears Lott has a case of the red ass about this case. He and his team were lead down a pig trail. He stated that all he knows that the subject had been shot. Maybe there might just have been some lawyering up as the subject works for a bunch of lawyers and is a criminal justice grad.
