SC Mayor Wants Voters To “Relect” Him To Office

Ah, rural South Carolina … where even the elected officials are borderline illiterate. The latest example? Corrupt Swansea, S.C. mayor Ray Spires – who is running for re-election this coming Tuesday. Well check that … in Spires case he’s running for “relection.” How do we know this? Because all of his 2013…

Because all of his 2013 yard signs (above) implore Swansea voters to “Relect” him.

Awesome …

Here’s what’s funny about this: It’s not just that Spires can’t spell “Re-elect” – it’s that no one on his campaign caught this error. Nor, apparently, did anyone at the print shop that produced these signs. Nor, apparently, did any of the people who placed them in front of their homes or businesses.

Sheesh … what a bunch of mouth breathers.

Anyway, score another one for the Palmetto State’s worst-in-the-nation government-run school system … but don’t worry, we’re sure just a little more taxpayer money will do the trick.

In keeping with the story one could argue that it’s relected officials that are the real problem

Y’ont me to?

TBG doesn’t live anywhere near Swansea, but, hey, this is SC…who lets little things like residency requirements stand in the way?

Yeah right, like a write in campaign is even an option there. They’d have to be able to spell first and wile I’m sure most can correctly pronounce and maybe even spell “Bubba” – the rest of your name would be a real challenge for Swansea.

Well, he could change his name to X, then people wouldn’t have that problem. And if he changed his name to XXX people would vote for him just so they could feel naughty, everyone in line would know who the guy in front of them was voting for b hearing the giggling and they would do it too and XXX would win in a landslide.

In a meeting about District 4’s which includes Swansea, reading skills are 84% below the skill set level. I wondered why the Mayor didn’t support the schools in the area. Now I know.

When in doubt go to the Urban Dictionary, where we find this word, and probably the ONLY word with ONE definition there, with this stupid definition—-

“Relect is the combination of Recall and Recollect. While sounding better on the tongue, and easy across the lips, it means the ability to remember a past event.”

With Mayors like Joe Owens, Spires and last but not least Lexington Ring Mayor Randy Halfacre, we are truly the laughing stock of the arm pits of the world!
A vote for spires, is a vote for illiteracy.
A vote for owens, is a vote for stupidity.
A vote for halfacre, is a vote for Danny Frazier and questionable ethics.

Don’t forget Owens hired Danny Frazier, just like sheriff Metts and Halfacre and Frazier were closer than Siamese twins in a corsett! All of this bunch needs to go away from daily decisions which effect us all!
They are all gog poop on our shoe!

Three things: 1) corrupt – does the “author” has proof of corruption? 2) the author states that all of the campaign signs have the misspelled word, that’s not correct, not all of the signs are spelled wrong, and 3) since not all of his signs are spelled incorrectly, has no one even considered that his opponent had those signs made?
