It doesn’t make much sense to me… Why does he have to go to DC to jog? Will he spend tax money for the plane ticket?

I’m just going to pro-rate my taxes till this shutdown thing blows over.

Giving up his salary during shutdown, jogging around the closed monuments – both meaningless gestures. How about visiting the Capitol Hill cop who was injured in the line of duty today who was doing his job – because those cops are considered essential and must work even though there is no money for salaries – who isn’t getting his paycheck until after the shutdown is over? Or the family of a full-time National Guard mechanic who was furloughed and doesn’t even know if he’s going to get paid after all this b/c it will take an act of a very fractured Congress to get him back pay? Or a family in AK that is losing its WIC benefits and can’t buy formula for the baby. Any of those visits would allow Sanford to see the really devastating effects of what he and his compatriots are doing.

Yet Obama’s golf course remains open…
MaceSucks, it’s all smoke and mirrors, theater of the absurd if you will, and you’re buying into it.

No gimmick too gimmicky for Sanford I see. Don’t get lost on the “trail,” Mark.

Was Belen going to jog with him, too? Heard she is a runner, too.

I really wish you’d stop publishing coverage of Sanford. His outrageous behavior & our stupidity for reelecting him is disgusting, embarrassing & painful to see – again & again & again.

Seems as though Sanford’s antics get lots of coverage on this site.
If I recall correctly his hiking got him in some trouble – he might ought to be careful about tuning it up to jogging . . .

And anyway, are there folks (besides, Folks) who really care to know about which new stunt he is pulling from day-to-day?

Probably the only other person who cares is carpetbagger/scalawag Davis.

Like his Teapublican brother Mick, Sanford has spent the last decade living on the backs of the Taxpayer. Fighting to make sure the Government benefits no one except politicians and the people who give them money.

We need 534 others like Mark in Washington so we could finally get a handle on these crack addict spending habits we have.
