More SC Government School Shenanigans

For those of you unfamiliar with Jasper County’s government-run schools they are the worst in South Carolina … which is saying something when you consider the Palmetto State’s government-run schools are the worst in America.

FITS recently exposed some of the problems with the Jasper County school district (serious allegations of corruption and mismanagement) but it looks like the district has other, um, “issues.”

According to reporter Ashleigh Holland of WSAV TV 3 (NBC – Savannah), a parent recently withdrew her child from Jasper’s Ridgeland Middle School after he was sexually harassed by bullies.

Parent Kimberly Teck told Holland that several bullies at the school “took pictures of her son over a bathroom stall and passed them around.” She also says the bullies “posted the pictures online.”

All this after she repeatedly asked school officials do something in response to several prior incidents of harassment …

Keck’s son wasn’t the only one bullied, either, which is why she’s pressing local law enforcement to investigate the matter after the school tried to sweep the problem under the rug.

We write frequently about the deteriorating academic achievement of the Palmetto State’s chronically failed government-run school system (which is shelling out nearly $12,000 per year, per child) but it’s important not to overlook the deterioration of law and order at these schools.

But hey … let’s just pump another billion or so tax dollars into the system. That should fix everything!

Because there has never been a private entity that has swept allegations of sexual misconduct and/or crimes under the rug. Ever. Especially religious institutions.

Wow. You used to be teachable. You used to understand that under it all, it was gubmints fault. You leaned liberal. Lately you got the fire box white hot and the valves wide open. Hmm.

Ding! Ding! Ding! more money in my “government-run” jar. My “exclusively” jar has not seen much action lately. Sic Willie must be getting lax.

It’s not difficult to sweep things under the rug in Jasper County. That is, after all, what was attempted with former County Council Samuel Gregory and his Assault and Battery charges (alleged assault against a middle school student) at the Hardeeville-Ridgeland Middle School at the end of last school year.

Will — Which private schools are going to sign up to take on those bullies?

It’s okay with Vinny Sheheen and his advisors because they all vote Democratic. Keep the leaders well paid – though corrupt – and the remainder dumber than dirt and they will always vote DEMOCRAT! Pathetic.

We’re not talking about Richland County here, Lewis. Jasper County.

Actually, it’s the same in Jasper as it is in Richland… Or close enough…
