Columbia, SC – October 1, 2013 – Push Digital founder and CEO Wesley Donehue today announced the launch of Push Advocacy, a sister company of Push Digital that will focus on public and government affairs. Push Advocacy will focus on clients by innovating traditional public affairs services through incorporating a strong digital tie-in, utilizing digital grassroots organizing, online advertising, and other emerging technologies.
Push Advocacy offers its clients a full menu of cutting-edge issue campaign services ranging from lobbying and communications to grassroots issue advocacy and digital campaign organization. The new firm will be led by managing partner Michael Rentiers, with Push CEO Donehue and Push Senior VP Joel Sawyer assisting in the firm’s growth and leadership.

Over the course of his career, Rentiers has built a solid résumé of experience in government relations, campaign management, marketing and public affairs. Rentiers comes to Push Advocacy from the firm Moore & Van Allen, where he was the Director of Public Affairs. He was responsible for designing and implementing numerous lobbying and grassroots issue campaigns in South Carolina and across the country. Prior to that, he worked in Washington, DC as Special Assistant to United States Congressman Joe Wilson (SC-02) and as a Coalitions Director for the Republican National Committee. He has worked on numerous federal and state campaigns in South Carolina and around the southeast.
