Not surprised 803 won, you talk mostly about stuff happening in Columbia after all when it comes to local news.

Wonder what the new area code will be, or what counties will use it.

SC should standardize it’s area code statewide, and the code should reflect the state of the State accordingly.

Hence, I nominate “911” for our new area code.

She would have two extensions shifty. Depneding on how you feel about her you could use either ext 69 or ext 86.

That was one of my favorite movie scenes. Especially when the guy who just wants to kill “somebody” starts shooting at him. Remember the defective oil cans? I needed a good laugh to start today! THANKS!

Here’s one on me. A few years back one of my best friends persuaded me to share a new apartment with his girlfriend. She wanted the phone in her name, but not her full name. So we decided to list it using my middle name and her last name with two additional letters at the end. This turned out to be a hoot. After the phone books came out, we got hundreds of calls from folks who wanted to know “is my car ready?” Subconsciously I made her last name similar to the last name of a guy who had worked on my car a few times. His first name was the same as my middle name, and he was listed alphabetically directly under ours.

Here’s a true story. Another friend didn’t want to pay extra to have an unlisted numbed. He listed his number using his dog’s name and the street name. To call him all one had to do was remember the street name. As an example, it would read as “Gracie Gervais.” Anyone asking to speak with Gracie were solicitation calls.
