All this love for our beloved paper here (the Index Journal) is a little misplaced I’m afraid. They’ve carried the Davis water his entire first term and really all the way back to the election he won on Obama’s coat tails (before he switched to republican after he got elected of course). They sat on this story as long as they could and only went public after Fits did. I overheard a group of people talking to their editor at one of our local eateries just a few weeks ago and all he could talk about was the old sheriff. They still won’t publish anything about how it is the sheriff’s sole responsibility (not the county’s) to monitor and control that money. Take a look at those pictures Fits published today. That’s your answer right there as far as how “in it” Davis is. What is sled doing for crying out loud? We may never know if its true that he was eating those catered meals every day, but pictures don’t lie.
Maybe if Nikki had written a big enough check, her daughter could have won the school pageant.
It is interesting that Sheriff Davis endorsed Alan (little Joe) Wilson for Attorney General.
HMMMMMM! Alan is also close to Sen. Knotts, Nikki Haley, Bob Peeler, and last but certainly not least…..Danny (fat ass) Frazier!!!!
