WASHINGTON, D.C. – Representative Mulvaney released the following statement on the proposed military action in Syria:

“Over the past two weeks, I have spent a considerable amount of time considering all of the facts presented about the situation in Syria. I have attended two classified briefings, met with the Secretaries of State and Defense, and talked at length to members of Congress from both parties. My staff has also spoken directly with the White House. I can assure everyone that we have given this matter the attention that it deserves.

I looked hard for a direct and relevant national interest that justifies getting involved in the civil war in Syria. I found none.

I gave considerable consideration to the implications of inaction on the international prohibition on the use of chemical weapons. And while I am concerned about taking no action, it strikes me that international law cannot be upheld via unilateral attack by the United States.

With that as background, then, I will not support the proposed military action in Syria at this time.

Finally, I have received more — far more — phone calls, emails, and FaceBook comments on this issue than for any other topic during my short time in office. I appreciate people taking the time to do that. It does make a difference. “

What……?? WHAT…..?? US Rep Mick Mulvaney, you bold faced DECEPTICON..!!

Ya know what …..Mick. We highly wager that when ANY information assurance officer in our military reads this statement……

“…I looked hard for a direct and relevant national interest that justifies getting involved in the civil war in Syria. I found none….”

….That they will be cursing you at the fuel pump. Guess what, bubba. You can go to all the CLASSIFIED briefings you want to but Wil Folks is Not stupid and neither is Amy Lazenby and they both can read a stinkin’ Google Earth Map and draw pipeline routes from Saudi and Iran that go through Syria to Turkey.

Mick, do you ever think that Wil Folks asks himself just WHAT those rebels are really fighting over..? What do you think they want to WIN..? What leverage does Vladimir Putin have if Assad stays in power…??

How can you honestly be so deceptive you your fellow citizens here in South Carolina? HOW….??

Its one thing to deceive Putin; but to have Wil Folks post such a ludicrous article that deceives his readers is down right treasonous….!!!

…and don’t think that you can look into a camera and act like Gomer Pyle and say “Shazam ….I had no idea. Gollyyyy..!!”

MIck, don’t you even think about speaking to the troops……

Mulvaney’s not doing it right. Try playing online poker on your phone instead of paying attention, or simply not even showing up for a briefing. It works for McCain!

And of course he should have added at the end.
Besides I would never support Obama on anything whether it was good for the country or not; so I was never going to vote for this anyway, unless of course I thought the it would be bad for me politically.
