At 30-32 weeks, how do you not know?

Sad story, though.

This is a horrifically sad story. Yes, Smirks, she may not have known she was pregnant and/or have been in such denial it had not reached her level of consciousness yet. She is in my most sincere prayers and I am hopeful her family can adjust to life without her.

That would be 7 to 8 months. Is that really possible to ignore? Just asking, because I have heard of such but do not understand. My wife knows if she has gained 5 lbs.

My prayers go out for this child and her family.

One channel has that “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant” show, most of those women end up finding out when they end up having to give birth prematurely, but usually there are underlying medical conditions or odd circumstances that lead them to not know. Still, at that stage, you would think they would be showing…

I’m truly sorry that the young lady lost the child. However, it’s hard for me to believe that she didn’t know that she was pregnant. Just doesn’t seem possible. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

It doesn’t seem possible, but seems to happen all the time.

It’s no surprise in a state with antiquated abortion and health care legislation. What a senseless loss of life. My prayers to her family and friends.

You’re an idiot. She could have walked the 5-6 blocks to a (un)Planned Parenthood Abortion Clinic in Middleburg plaza. Or for a different alternative, she could have walked the 2 blocks to Daybreak Pregnancy Crisis Center. Daybreak is literally 1 block down Hardin and half a block down Hampton. The Richland County Public Health office is right across the street!

While I think this is a tragedy and have great sympathy for the family/friends, blaming the “state” for this unnecessary loss of two lives is simply idiotic.

“It’s no surprise in a state with antiquated abortion and health care legislation”

Could you please tell me EXACTLY how abortion or health care legislation had anything to do with this?

She had brain surgery and part of her brain that would have let her known was removed.

Firstly Ayaanah suffered from a mental illness and her Pregnancy was very well unnoticed by staff and friends due to the way she dressed. You people have no sense, knowing that family and friends would see these comments. Get a life
