Republicans won a lot of seats because of Obamacare. Now it’s time to do their job, but it doesn’t look like they have the willpower. They are going to disappoint conservatives once again.
I listened to Jindal today talk about “Repeal and Replace.” The problem is: there is no “replace” offered.
Hell, Obamacare is a Republican iniatiative! They just won’t acknowledge it. It is anathema to the Republican creed of obstruction as presented by their current coalition of Tea Party numbnuts and Republican “Regulars” who are scared of the Primary voters.
Romney already told you the answer to that. They can’t tell you what they will replace it with until after its repealed.
Correct.
And Democrats won a lot of seats in 2012, including the person the ACA is nicknamed after. 23 seats up for reelection in the Senate and they picked up an additional two seats? Heck, the guy the GOP picked to run against Obama was the guy who passed the reform Obamacare was based off of.
It isn’t that they don’t have the willpower, they don’t have the power at all. They will never get it past the Senate, and they couldn’t in their wildest dreams override Obama’s veto. It will never happen. There is literally zero chance for success.
Another dimwit finds an audience on the Internets. (I’m lookin’ at you, Wilson!)
Right-wing extremism x infinity + total BS=Nonsense
‘liberal media’? SO 20th century
You’ll be talking impeachment, next? Knock yourself out.
If you can’t screw the the dead horse…..then by all means beat it to death.
The US is the ONLY major country that does NOT have Universal Health Care.
THE ONLY ONE.
So the Republicans want the US to be in the same rank as Somalia which does not have Universal Healthcare?
This is all about Healthcare providers and Insurance companies.
Blue Cross profits have increased 45% a year over the past 5 years and some healthcare insurance companies have posted a 100% increase in profits in one year, meanwhile people suffer and die in “the greatest country in the world” (LMAO).
Come on Republicans.
We need that “free enterprise” lecture about now!
Whoa!
Stop the presses!!!
You are telling me that if we fund Obamacare people won’t suffer and die anymore???
Beats Buddhism:
The Noble Truth of Suffering is this: Birth is suffering, ageing is suffering, sickness is suffering, death is suffering; sorrows and lamentation, pain, grief and despair are suffering; association with the unpleasant is suffering, dissociation from the pleasant is suffering; not to get what one wants is suffering – in short, the five aggregates of attachment are suffering.
Beats Christianity, where you have to be resurrected to overcome pain and suffering in the *afterlife*.
TBG has found a new religion!!! In the name of the Mocha Messiah, BIgT/GrandTango was correct. This Liberal-Tarian has converted!!! All hail the Lightworker!
Joe, then Allen, and now Bill. What is going on here?
Pro Tip/History lesson:
When Democrats (or “W”) have control they tend to massively increase the size and scope of the Federal government.(New Deal, Great Society, Obamacare etc.). The Republicans alwayspromise that, when they get power, they will “undo”, “defund” or “repeal” the offending programs. BUT THEY NEVER DO. NEVER. NOT ONCE! EVER! IN GENERATIONS!
If you thought that if Mitt Romney was elected along with GOP super-majorities in the House and Senate, that Obamacare would have been substantively changed…YOU ARE A MORON.
Go ask some of the elderly GOPers (like the Lindsey Graham supporters), how the repeal of the New Deal is coming along…..
