Dear Friends,
As always, I hope this e-mail finds you well and enjoying life…I sure have been. It was a great week visiting with some wonderful folks around the state.
On Monday, I attended a morning town hall at Hanahan’s beautiful new outdoor amphitheater, headed over to Mount Pleasant for lunch with the East Cooper Republican Club, and finished the day at a wonderful reception with supporters and friends. I also snuck in some time with Charleston’s own RadioFree Rocky D. Click here to listen!
On Wednesday, I attended the Aiken Chamber of Commerce State of Our Community Luncheon. It was a great event, and I was pleased to have a chance to speak with business leaders from around the area. After lunch, I met up with the new County Treasurer and spent the afternoon visiting local banks.
Finally, I topped off another great day by attending an execellent reception hosted by the Aiken County Republican Party. It’s important that I get out and talk to you, the taxpayers, directly about our efforts to protect your money in Columbia – successes we’ve had and challenges that lie ahead. Just as important, I need to answer your questions and hear your concerns. You are who I serve, and it’s your money that I have a constitutional duty to protect. The campaign is cranking up more every week as we head into the fall, so that means me getting out of the office and hitting the road.
If there is an event in your area you would like me to attend, please send your request to reform@curtisloftis.com and someone from the campaign will be in touch as soon as possible.
Last, but not least, I want to personally invite you to walk with our campaign in the annual Chapin Labor Day Parade Monday, September 2. It’s always a great time, and I would love for you to join us. We will meet in the GIS parking lot on Route 76 in Chapin at 8:45 a.m. Please email reform@curtisloftis.com if you would like to attend and be sure to include your t-shirt size.
Take care, be well, and enjoy your weekend.
Sincerely,
Curtis Loftis
State Treasurer

Curtis Loftis has attacked the really hard problems in state government and has had a lot of success. I am very happy to be one of his supporters.
See you in the parking lot on Route 76…
HAHA
Good one.
When does he actually work? And, why doesn’t he have spellcheck?
TBG didn’t notice any misspellings … unless you are just being picky about “snuck”.
Who cars about that anyway. What is important is that somebody take these good old boys that have strangled this state for decades and and chunk them to the street. They are nothing but ticks sucking us dry.
I say good luck to Loftis and any republican, democrat or independent that will help him!
The paragraph beginning with “Finally.” Unless I am missing something, the above spelling of excellent is not correct. This is a press release and as such should be error free.
*Ed McMahon Voice*
“Yesssss. You are correct, sir. Correct about the press release, also. Yes.”

That one “snuck” by old TBG…but howunthahell did spell-check not catch it?
Is Loftis “primarying’ against anyone?
Is there a guideline, in SC, that GOP candidates not utilize spell-check?
That was a execellent catch CheToast

If we had a half-a-dozen more like Loftis we could turn this state around. Having spent 25 year in government I know he can’t do it by himself. We need more people of courage and less people looking for an ego boost.
There are so many crooks in SC Loftis certainly has some easy shoot’en. It is like shooting fish in a barrel. Fat, slow fish wearing cement shoes in a barrel.
Loftis would have a much harder time if he were looking for honest people
shootin’
Love? No Q? Are the t’s free? Can we bring coolers? FITSNEWS is working for the NSA?
To the spell check greek.
Who cares? You are worried about spelling while Rome burns. Grow up. Quit messing about with the small stuff and start focusing on what is important.
Real life. Real issues. Real cost to us in money and liberty.
Grow up and move on from the petty.
“geek”
Loftis has a whole lot of what we need and that is old fashion common sense. He seems to be fearless when it comes to pissing off all the right people and that is why I like him so much. Screw those politicians that need the job for a paycheck and ego boost. I want bad asses that tell it like it is. I would leave the GOP and join the bad ass party in a minute!
This boy is just another politician. He watches out for us alright. Brought in one of his huckster friends in the Retirement System lawsuit that got lots of buck while the Retirement System got $20 million of the $120 million it got screwed on. He also made a deal to invest more with the same institution that lost the money to begin with.
I attended a briefing about this settlement and I am very pleased at the outcome.
I salute the legal teams and state employees that went to bat for SC and recovered 26.5 million dollars for SC.
What a blatant display of editorial “snoggery”…!! Can readers here believe that Wil Folks licks boots this way..? No wonder there is all this advertisement space going unused on this webpage and web site..!! The least WIl Folks could have done would have tagged this fluff email in the comment section of a piece he penned concerning the actions happening right now in Egypt and Syria and the Charleston port..? But no….he gives Curtis “Lost-us” a freebie in the front seat of his website…!!
We wonder if Wil Folks will have the guts to go to Chapin and get a photo of “Lost-us” in the parade for a follow up expose’…??
Geez…?
Mr. Blanton,
1. This is an eblast from the Loftis campaign. Folks clearly says that just below the article.
2. I know Curtis and he has a keen interest in energy conservation. He drove a hybrid for years and lives in a much Smaller house than you might think. It is very energy efficient.
before you blast a politician you ought to do some homework.
JPP
Dear Jpp,………..you have an excellent reply. Your information in your reply is a trove of data. We appreciate your efforts and hope that you and Curtis can discuss your points in greater detail in the near future. Matter of fact, your reply is of greater value than the Curtis e-blast itself.
We hope that your next meeting with Curtis starts out with you shaking hands and asking Curtis if he even had time to read his presser on the Fitsnews website. Then we hope while you are still shaking the Loftis hand that you firmly squeeze and stop shaking and look the man dead in the eye and ask him why he is NOT producing energy on top of just conserving. Ask him to explain to you why we do not have Sub-division energy production that helps the WAR effort..? Ask him why we do not have the BEST building codes in the WORLD to show support for the war effort? Then ask Mr Loftis if he would go to another country and declare…”We came, We Saw, and He Died..”!!?
Finally, JPP, you are so correct about homework. We hope you ask Curtis what steps he should take to make sure HIS HOMEWORK gets published on the FITSNEWS website for all taxpayers to see so we can keep track of what he is up too….!!! What the “queen” on his chess board is up to….!! What the campaign donors he has are up too…!!
Tell him our troops needs to know so they can use it on a battlefield to win the hearts and minds….!!
Thank you so much JPP for your time….its valuable to me..!
Dear Nancy Mace…..if you still ran this website, how would you re-write this article..?? Its a real money maker the way it is….isn’t it..!? Nancy, would you have at least asked Curtis if he had time to swing by Folly Beach to check out our WIND ENERGY or Solar Energy that is be squandered..? Heck, we wonder if Curtis understand how many troops have DIED for foreign OIL this year YET…?
Loftis is a fine gentleman and does a good job. He will get my vote again.
Treasurer Loftis crosses the state.
In his left hand he carries a plate.
Voters, he weighs nearly two-forty-two.
I’d not offer him pastry, if I were you.
He needs to be in fighting form, it would seem,
To vanquish any challenge in 2014.
So, nary a moon pie, not even a speck.
If you wanna give him something–
Give him a check.
