I like The Colonel’s suggestion about sending vague e-mails with flag words in them if nothing else but to tweak the watchers noses.

The only problem with that is that you have to wonder if they will black bag you because of it or screw with you back.

Our gov’t is truly something to be feared, and it obviously doesn’t fear us.

“When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.”-Jefferson

Yeah, but do you fear Mark Zuckerberg and the internet companies that mess in 100% of your stuff…to sell advertising?
Or, is it OK when business spies on you just to make a billion or two?

No. It doesn’t bother me a bit. I only allow them to have what I want. They have more than I would like, but they don’t run around sniffing my A-hole trying to find out what I had for supper.

There’s a difference between collecting everything, and providing a few things.

I don’t sign up for their shit, simple enough.

Not only that I can sue them if they take my shit(info) without asking.

I have no such recourse with the gov’t.

I think where your misunderstanding lies is the difference between “voluntary” and “involuntary” realm of participation

The only way to defeat darkness is to walk in the light……

We wonder how Lindsey Graham or Nancy Mace is demonstrating their walks in the “light”..??

Actually, Fits, Republican bozos have voted repeatedly to repeal the ACA while failing to take ANY steps to curtail domestic spying.

Last time I checked Justin Amash was a Republican. It is more of a case of only those on the fringe of the left and right tring to do anything about the surveillance mess we are in and they are only doing it because they feel left out in the halls of power.
