The GOP would stand a better chance of winning national elections if SC was not so prominent in the vetting of Presidential candidates. Perhaps if VA, GA, Texas were first in the South. Seriously, no need for so much soul searching within the party, just reorder the primaries so that a state less insane than this gets an earlier and more prominent vote.

It’s good to be first in something? Isn’t it?
First in War, First in Peace, First Southern Republican’t Primary !
Depends on which war. Seems I remember the Union army sacked Columbia.
I assume you refer to the War of Northern Aggression and must be a damn Yankee.

I hope Chris Christie gets into the race and runs in SC.
He is the GOP’s strongest, and most sensible candidate.
RINO or not: he’s a winner.
I like his kickass style.
You mean his fat ass style, right?
So school yard bullies give you a thrill?
He has a bigger ass than H. Clinton. No discipline or he would get the gut off.

We are willing to work with you, but, like it or not, there have been
violations,” Herbert Hayden, the commission’s executive director, wrote
to Haley’s attorney, Butch Bowers, nearly a month after the charges
became public. “Whether the Governor was aware of them or whether they
were unintentional, her campaign has not complied with the requirements
of the law.”

The 2012 SC Republican Presidential Primary failed to “accurately predict the eventual Republican nominee” because this was the first Republican Presidential primary after the SC Republican party infected itself with Tea Party membership. Tea Party members are much less controllable than the reliable evangelicals used to be. The party’s leadership has been so crazy about an Obama administration that they whipped these simpletons into a frenzy. Gringrich, from Georgia, knew exactly how to play the average white tea party voter which resulted in easy victory for Newt Gingrich. Of course, with all of this ugly far right rhetoric on display early in the process, many voters around the country rejected the GOP at the ballot box that counts in November. This ‘failure to predict’ is an early and visible symptom of how the infection is taking the party down a path of demise. The national leadership had better figure out how to push SC further back in the line to prevent another humiliating loss in 2016.
When real conservative run for office we win the white house not win neocons and Rinos. We need a real conservative to run a distinctly diametricly opposed
Platform to get the white house in 2016.
Sorry if this does not make your commie pinko agenda happy.
