Actually, the best punishment would be for them to serve time together in the same cell — 30 months for each – and see who comes out alive…. jus’ thinkin’

I’m not a reflexive Jesse Jackson hater, unlike most of you bigoted assholes, but even *I* think Jesse Jackson, Jr. is a douchebag.
I don’t reflexively hate him, I usually don’t start hating him until he opens his
mouth. I heard him speak once when I was at East Meck High School in Charlotte. We had just come through a new busing scheme that had caused some renewed racial tensions. Jessie, spoke passionately about both sides working together to get through the issue and ended with his “I am – somebody, down with dope, up with hope” mantra. I went away as a 15-16 year old genuinely impressed.
Somehow, somewhere, Jessie lost the idea that racism and racial divides are generally two way streets – he’s altogether more about what “whitey did” than
about what needs to be done to move on. I’d be happy if he’d start by fully
acknowledging his illegitimate love child Ashley (age 14) and paying the child
support he owes.
Then maybe he could drop “The reverend” part of his schtick. While he was ordained, he never achieved a theological degree and isn’t on the staff of any church. He is pro-abortion (but only because an abortion doctor lines his pockets) and no church would touch him for that reason alone – not to mention that political activism and religion don’t mix well (unless you’re Reverend Jessie or Reverend Al.
Why I want to throw up at the name of Jesse Jackson, we may never know. But, what what we do know is that I have asked the question, “What do I want? What, do I want? I want your wallet. I want your 14 year old daughter. I want your ability to – huh – be free of me. What do I want?”
