S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley’s press secretary Rob Godfrey is moving from her taxpayer-funded office to her 2014 reelection campaign, the Associated Press is reporting.
Godfrey – who received some props from FITS earlier this year for his weight loss – will serve as the spokesperson for Haley’s campaign. He joins former Haley chief of staff Tim Pearson – who resigned his taxpayer-funded position last fall to work full-time on the governor’s reelection bid.
Godfrey has been Haley’s spokesman ever since she first ran for statewide office in 2010. Haley told the Associated Press Godfrey was a “trusted friend and advisor.”

For someone who might not be running, she’s compiling and paying a lot of folks. Maybe she will hire someone who will answer a question at her office and not deliver a campaign pot-shot instead.
Doubt it though.
