I have the utmost respect for Shawl, both as a football player and as a man. However, I don’t think he is an elite quarterback.
I like Shaw, he’s a pretty good player, but I don’t think he’s the best in college football either. That being said, he’s a helluva lot better than the Gamecocks have had in the past.

He’s 17-3 as a starter. That is remarkable for Carolina historically and presently but hopefully not so much in the future. Hope even better numbers to come.
However as far as skills Conner is not superb in any except on rare occasions when
he is “on”. (UK in 2011)
