Does he have any academic credentials at all?
This is College of Charleston we’re talking about. If he can hold his liquor, he’s qualified.

C of C has the highest SAT Freshmen scores of any SC public college and has for a number of years. Part of the reason for this is that the college admits so many students from out-of-state. Part of it has to do with the fact that over 50% of the students are female.
The Shirley Hinson hiring aside, C of C is on the rise. And Chip wants to either be president of his Alma Mater or CEO of the new cruise terminal at Patriot’s Point. He loves himself in uniform.
