We were less-than-impressed with this year’s list of “most beautiful” people in Washington, D.C. (as compiled by The Hill, an insider rag in our nation’s capital). Seriously, this year’s assemblage of “talent” was a major letdown – and while U.S. Sen. Tim Scott definitely deserved to be on the list (according to our founding editor’s wife, anyway), we can think of several Capitol hotties who should have been considered.
All of whom have Palmetto political connections …
For starters, where was Katie Zirkelbach (above) on this list? This smokin’ hot S.C. State House lobbyist is now in the big leagues working as director of political affairs for America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP). And what about former USC journalism school hottie Tara Bradshaw – a senior government relations manager for Washington Council Ernst and Young?
These are powerful, sexy women wielding real influence in our nation’s capital – and both are way hotter than most of the people included on The Hill list.
U.S. Rep. Mick Mulvaney’s communications director Stephanie Faile should have also received some consideration – along with Hill+Knowlton communications strategist Kate Gatto (another USC j-school graduate). And let’s not forget uber-hottie Lauren Luxenburg – a recent USC grad who is currently in Washington working for Americans for Prosperity.
We’re sure there are more hotties The Hill missed …
Memo to The Hill: If you’re going to compile a list of “beautiful” people, it helps for them to actually be beautiful. “Political hot” doesn’t count …

Also missing: Mark Sanford’s 47 year old talented “hottie” Maria Belen Chapur. Such an oversight.

What about Lauren in Jeff Duncan’s office? Can’t remember her last name.
The one he’s banging.

Sic Willie, those gals might be educated, attractive, etc. but they ain’t what you call lookers, stoppers and hotties. Not insulting them, I’m sure they have many many other positive qualities. Maybe, you might want to put your intellectual efforts into something more constructive to attract more folks to your blogs? Just saying.
They’re hot… I’d definitely sleep with any of them.. Any takers?

Two stories in a row on hot people in D.C. Methinks Mr. Folks is hard up these days.

The Hill list definitely confirms the old saw, “Washington is Hollywood for ugly people.”
