I’m assuming everyone that’s working up here loves this awesome country.
Ouch. Look around buddy, most of the people elected to office are working up there because they want a fatter wallet off of the backs of their fellow citizens. I’m sure a lot of staffers are excited about their position and wants to serve the country properly, but a lot of them probably share their congressman’s sentiment about getting rich.
If you’re honest, I hope you’ll run against these political prostitutes some day.

In fairness to him, if he understands that slavery was the propaganda theme behind Lincoln’s desire to save the Union and a topic of convenience for him with which to use to dehumanize white Southerners and not discuss the issue of secession…well then BIG PROPS to him.
