Vince is a pretty good guy, but I don’t believe he can beat the Gov. As long as the low country and the Greenville/Spartanburg area vote almost strictly republican, it ain’t gonna happen. Population density speaks for itself and those folks are going to vote down party lines.

South Carolinians are too stupid to vote for “change.” Hell, they even re-elected Mark Sanford. We need to stay at the back of the line nationally.
Exactly. If Sanford can win Sheheen is going to be steam rolled, or in this case steam Muthia.

Why don’t you ask Chris Christie about 4K?
I have read that NJ gives credit for their improvements in educational outcomes to implementing public 4K.
Too bad he does by way of the employers pockets, instead of the UNIONS!!

Sheheen can definately beay Haley! I’m a Republican continually embarrassed by her incompetence and missteps!
I’m running a Sheheen bumper sticker, voting, working for and contributing to Sheheen!
Like I’ve said. Vote for the evilest of the fuckers you can find. Repuklicrat/Demlican? What’s the difference?

The average four year old does not have the mental maturity to retain information without constant daily repetition and multilevel external and internal reinforcement.
Imagine a self-learning computer which has only one command – “expand pleasurable knowledge.” That’s your average 4-yr-old. At this level, a child sees himself in the eyes of his parents faces, moods, words, and actions at a fundamental level. Gross motor skills are refining, generalizations must be molded gently, but firmly, and most importantly, time away from parents must be balanced by time with parents in order for fundamental progress in basic familial socialization to take place.
Too much separation at four years can cause basic confusion in the average child. Whether you are a follower of Skinner or Erikson, you cannot deny that years birth to 7 are absolutely critical as far as familial socialization is concerned. Frankly, there needs to be far more research before we go blithely of into the woods, jerking children this young from their mothers to prove a political point.
4-yr-old Kindergarten for two or three hours a day, four or five days a week.. maybe.. MAYBE. But not more than that. Better not to have a child than abandon a child from years 2 – 6 to a worthless school system.
Now, if you have a child with a higher learning capability, that’s a different animal, but I’m discussing children of average intellect, here. IQ 90-115.

Sheheen doesn’t know how to deal with education problems except to throw money at it. He will fail as every other person who has tried to fix our educational monstrosity has failed. It must be ENDED and something better, something not THIS, put in its place and Sheheen DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO DO THAT!
Sheheen will be our next rock star. Haley was a rock star wannabe.
Elevating politicians to “rock star” status is absurd. They are not celebrities, they are not “famous” and, despite what many of you want, they are not a privileged class.

Sheheen is a big gov’t liberal who will assist with Obamacare implementation and other anti-business intiatives.

Unless there is a viable challenger for Haley in the primary, I know lots of Republicans quietly pulling the voting lever for Vince. He’s a likeable guy and everyone knows the SC has no power. Its a legislative state.
