People just aren’t getting it. Her media career was based on an idealized image, which is why her public photo so hilariously Photoshopped. And that image was tarnished, whether or not it was her fault. (Personally, I thought the boo-hoo poor me, “I is What I is” speech was dreadful but regardless…. ) So these companies aren’t making value judgments that she’s racist, they are a bunch of suits making cold and calculated decisions about whether she costs more than she’s worth. Rather than complain about it being over, she should be thanking God that she got to ride that horse as long as she did.
