“revisionist history” So Sic Willie guarantees us that parochial schools teach all the warts their religious brand has. Do Catholic schools teach about the Borgia Popes? If they don’t, isn’t that revisionist?
As someone that went to a Catholic school, I can say yes they do teach about the bad things about the church. The Inquisition, the Crusades, the Borgia Popes, all of it.
And as a current Catholic school student I can tell you that all my school has done is barely gloss over the crusades. We never spoke about the sexual harassment of children when it happened either. Instead, we are constantly reminded of pro-life everyday while teachers complain about Obama. That’s bullshit. Obama is right.
And as a former Catholic student I can say that your teachers are right to focus on the right to life and complain about Obama. He is one of the most blatant pro-choice president we’ve ever had. Maybe one day when you mature you’ll understand the implications behind the Church’s teachings on life.
