The ideologically bankrupt S.C. Republican Party is suffering from a major cash crunch, its latest campaign filing reports show. In fact the party is in debt up to its eyeballs – owing nearly ten times as much money as it currently has on hand.

As of May 20, the SCGOP had $36,984.55 in its federal account – with $340,000 worth of debt. In contrast, the S.C. Democratic Party had $183,969.45 in its federal account – with no debt. At the state level, the SCGOP had $6,777.29 in its main account and $47.24 in a separate pass-through account it uses for candidate filings. Democrats have $23,244.42 in their main state account and $306.78 in their pass-through account.

Yeah … and which party promotes “fiscal responsibility” again?

The SCGOP’s terrible financial positioning should improve somewhat this week when U.S. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) comes to the state for a two-day fundraising visit.

We encouraged Paul not to raise funds for the SCGOP – a party which does nothing but defend a bunch of big government liberals masquerading as “conservatives” – but Paul wants to be President, and apparently he views ingratiating himself with the “Republican” establishment in early voting South Carolina as a necessary evil.

That’s a shame …

Anyway, SCGOP chairman Chad Connelly resigned over the weekend – news broken exclusively by FITS. He will be replaced by Matt Moore, a former executive director at the party.

Moore’s huge salary (first time ever that a Chairman will be paid – very unneeded) will not help the party’s situation at all.

The party has more than a cash on hand problem.
Look at all of the conflicts of interests, the ethics problems, the non lobbyist lobbyist, the affairs, self interest conflicts , abuse of power and process.
As far as the financial books are concerned, Gov Haley must be the book keeper, just like at the Sikh temple.

No, he clearly doesn’t give a shit and is just a typical Republican looking to scratch the backs of other Republicans so they’ll scratch his. Rand is nothing like his dad.

So, the Party is broke

Why not call up the Gypsy Queen for a loan. According to Parakeet Times, GQ and DumbDumb raked in over $284,000 last year

In fact they were so benevolent they gave their own chartiable foundation over $120,000(wink,wink) and a nice chunk of change, thousands, to Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church

If GQ and DD are not willing to help out, the Party should give Lexington Richland School District 5 a call. Word is that they have sent ousted Board Member Murphy a bill for $10,000,000 for being a fly and crapping in their clam chowder. Maybe they will share the money when Murphy pays up

Awhile back when the Sikh Temple Shit hit the fan I spent a few minutes looking up LLC’s associated with the Gypsy Queen and members of Band.

At that time all roads led back to a windowless shack right off Hogpen Road bordering the backwaters of the South Fork of the Edisto River near Bamberg. It seems a Gypsy High Priestess named Maria Laveau is the one who signs off and creates all of the Gypsies’ LLC’s.

Maria is a distant cousin of Maire Laveau who was immortalized by Bobby Bare

S.C. Republican Party hopes to chip away at $340,000 debt

COLUMBIA — The S.C. Republican Party still faces $340,000 in debt related to last year’s statewide wipeout of more than 250 candidates from the ballot.

The S.C. Democratic Party didn’t face the same issue last fall because
outgoing Chairman Dick Harpootlian’s law firm covered the majority of
the legal costs of ballot cases.
