Unnecessary. Anyone who reads FITSNEWS knows that you have no love for this man. Why bother reporting on his death? No connection to South Carolina, no juicy understory. No need to say (once again), “Someone died and I just refuse to say anything nice because I’m an ass.”

Yeh pretty tasteless.I despise lots of people but if they were to dieI think I could just maintain silence. No need to say anything.

As for the “he helped destroy the country line?”As best I can determine, except for a few goofball libertarian types,Fits feels that way about just about everybody!

Simple!

Fun thought experiment: how many people will cry when Sic Willie finally sheds his self-abused mortal coil? What would people say nice about him? “Man, he showed lots of cleavage on the internet”? Maybe that his shining moment was lying about/admitting to screwing another man’s wife, and then making incessant lurid references to it half a decade later?

Hey Frank, when I took the ASVAB, I had the highest score from Charlotte my recruiter saw in three years. I was a platoon scribe in I Company Platoon 3064 3rd Battalion Parris Island which was the honor platoon. We designed a platoon flag which I contributed our name, Commie Killers. My MOS was ATC Radar Technician. I took the oath and as far as I can tell, it still stands. BTW, what is the best CAD program…is there an alternative to Autodesk? Can you print 3d from Autocad or the next best alternative sending files straight to a 3d printer from 3d Systems Corporation printer?

Once again, Sic Willie shows his ignorance about all things military. In WWII members of the Signal Corps were on warships and went with our troops in the Pacific theater. Why? Because communications are essential to the coordination of sea, air and land forces. I do not have information relative to exactly where Lautenberg served. Not every soldier was on the front lines, e.g. Ike, Marshall, etc. Does that mean they did nothing?

Well considering you didn’t give a shit when Daniel Inouye died, a veteran who had to have his arm amputated after quite a heroic run in WW2, I think we can all take this “well he didn’t do much!” crap with a grain of salt. You don’t give a crap because you don’t agree with him ideologically, not because he didn’t do anything sufficiently life-threatening to be worth mentioning. Because god forbid a veteran have a different opinion or political leaning, right?

If you want to know why the US is in such terrible shape, read this book. It’s especially essential to those born after 1960,who are so frustratingly ignorant, with no real grasp of American history, but reading books requires long attention-spans;something else that’s missing in this Fahrenheit 451 ,information super-dead end highway society_But this will be categorized and dismissed by you and most readers in simplistic cliched terms as,’Uber liberal’,anti freedom, etc, etc .That’s so much easier than analytical thinking.

With no explanation of WHY big corps run/own so much, especially the cockroaches and how gov’t cockroaches are a piece of the puzzle it’s more of a state of affairs type of book.

When you can’t/don’t connect the dots between gov’t & corporate power while also exploring their major medium/conduit(fiat currency) you really can’t explain WHY.

The moment gov’t power was reduced by substantial levels the power of these corps would fade with it too…because in a true free market they would be slaves to the customers…not the other way around.

As a “once upon a time” member of the Signal Corps, I’d like to share a list with you: Morgan D. Lane

Charles Evans Kilbourne Jr.

Gordon Johnston

Will Croft Barnes

Adolphus W. Greely

What do these guys have in common? They’re all Medal of Honor Recipients for actions taken while serving in the Signal Corps (AKA – “The Voice of Command”). My list of fellow Infantryman and Engineers would be much much longer but never belittle a man because of his branch of service. Even the AG Corps have a Medal of Honor recipient.

Oh, on the subject at hand – Lautenberg was a horse’s ass as a politician. He voted for DOMA but was an outspoken advocate of gay marriage. He supported every violation of the 2nd Amendment that came through the house and senate. His “Lautenberg Amendment” while having a positive outcome was really just another “gun grab” attempt. The NAACP loved him but he supported every bill fro the evil that is causing a genocide among the black population (see abortion).

About the only political act he committed that I unconditionally support is the ban on smoking on airplanes.

In that pic, I’m trying to figure out if someone just shoved a 24″ dildo up Lautenberg’s ass or if he is about to blow a load in some freedom-loving citizen’s ass. It’s hard to tell.

My step brother was in the signal corps during the first Gulf War (Kuwait), he was inserted miles ahead of combat troops and helped direct bombs, artillery and troop movements. It wasn’t a cakewalk.

The Laut was the replacement for the Torch, if I recall from the late 90s, corectly… The liberals were able to play by a set of better rules for themselves, after The Torch’s crimes were exposed…
Actually: Republican Bashing by FITS-like Moderates is how we end up w/ disasters like The Laut.

If Election law would have been followed, The Laut would not have gotten on the ballot. But media like FITS shills for extra rights for the left. Regular rules do nopt apply and the Laut was annointed to the peoples’ office to steal us blind, while FITS and the ret of the media stood there w/ their heads up their @$$#@…(sound familiar in 2008 and 2012?)….

You didn’t answer my last inquiry. What was the subject of the bet I supposedly lost? You keep saying I owe you money. I’ll pay up if you can back up your claim.

Otherwise, shut the fuck up.

So I’ve been pouring over my posts, and I don’t see any where I made such a wager. I certainly didn’t pay the government that much in taxes last year (I wish!), and I’m pretty sure I’ve never accused you of being on public assistance.

However, if you would be so kind as to point me to the specific post where I made such a claim, I would appreciate it.

How am I being a coward, exactly? I am saying I don’t recall making such a statement and I am inviting you to point out where I made such a statement. I would like you to do that.

Unless you have no proof to back up your claim, although I know a staunch conservative like you would never do such a thing.

Castigating the Signal Corps is NOT how to build a condemnation on his record as a Senator. I’m no fan of Lautenberg, but come on, man.

By the way, my background is Combat Arms (Infantry and Armor), and I’ve seen a lot of excellent Signal Soldiers go wayout in the wayout to make sure that all of us “trigger pullers” had a means to scream for help. Yeah, Michael Haley had a pretty dangerous billet: How did you know that the group you were meeting wouldn’t turn on you when you got there? All of these “green on blue” attacks against advisors in the news illustrate just how deadly that billet is. As an Infantry advisor, the enemy had a bounty on our heads. These “outreach” guys are no different. They are volunteers, too. Anyone who thinks that they are “badder” than whatever Branch of Service, Arm of Service, etc…there’s recruiting offices all over South Carolina. Put your money where your mouth is.

Then again, the general population of the Republic is so removed from it’s Army, it hasn’t a clue about it other than what they see flowing out of Hollywood. As for a WWII Signal guy, the ranges on the equipment was a lot shorter, meaning closer to the fighting. Often, in the middle of it. Today, the general population thinks the most pressing issue of its military is to make sure that Servicemembers can come out of the closet, get married, and have the same benefits/

I’ve got a _LOT_ of brother and sister Servicemembers in the Active, Reserve, and Guard components who think he’s a great guy, politically speaking. I disagree with them. Yet, they’re no less a citizen or a Servicemember serving the Republic than me. The last time I checked, they bled the same. They die the same.
